iOS 17 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Been trying that. Seems a no go for both my iPhones. The profile doesn’t even show up after downloading and installing. I think there must be a bug in the system that are allowing some lucky ones to get through and circumvent the process. Guess I’ll wait for the public, thanks for responding.

And before anyone says I'm being inconsistent: nope. This is like a Starbucks employee accidentally leaving a table of coffees out for anyone to take. In this case, it's Apple's fault for making it available and not saying anything about it. This is on them. And now they're going to have to live with it all the way through the process as they have no practical way to send non-developers back to 16 and will need to bring them along for the whole ride (or at least until the public beta comes out)

Those macOS Sonoma flyover screensavers that transition into a still image would look real nice on my iPhone or iPad...
And on tvOS. People have been calling for new screensavers there, I’m not sure why they limited these new ones to macOS. 🤔

The more that install it the hopefully more feedback they get on glitches and bugs
If this was deliberate then I imagine the deprecation of profiles was done more for convenience rather than trying to lock anyone out. Or perhaps a crackdown on unofficial distribution.Unexpected but welcome

This update is probably more like 16.7 than a full blown update. So probably no harm in letting everyone into the pool now.
