I realized that part of the reason I am having trouble with the auto-completion feature on iPad...the same feature on the Mac can be invoked by using either the spacebar or the tab key. You can only accept the suggestion on the iPad by hitting the spacebar. The tab key is more intuitive.

I did a fresh install of iOS 17 and it has been great so far. The iteration of it when I did an OTA on Keynote Day was rather warm/buggy but it has been materially better following the fresh install. YMMV - just throwing out there
Did you restored your backup with the fresh install ?

Looks like the weather app’s crappy radar has lost the ability to predict out more than 12 hours. Under iOS 16, you could get a couple of days worth of “future radar” by zooming out to a continental level. Just tried that and it will only give me 12 hours’ worth.
I’ll take an accurate 12-hours and continuous up-time, if I have to choose between them (which is a different, annoying discussion)

AirTags

Sending an AirTag with my household items via moving company.
In prep I set up a new AT.

On my iPad it shows up no problem.
On the 13PM it shows "No location found" and when I click Find Nearby it resprings the phone.

Update: A turn OFF / ON of Find My in iCloud and a Hard Reboot and the iPhone sees location. Clicking on "Find Nearby" still resprings the iPhone. Interestingly the "Find" option does not show on the iPad.

Health data getting downloaded from iCloud to iPad takes forever and doesn’t complete. Anyone else notice this?

Between the 13 ProMax on 5ghz and the iPad Pro 11 on 6E I would expect the iPad to be faster on downloading.
Unfortunately the iPad is frequently much slower than the 13PM. Mostly seen when pulling data from Apple sources - Health, iCloud files, etc...

Not sure why.

If you file a FB report, include the number and I'll piggy-back off it.

Don’t know if this one is a “just you” issue but I’m finding fairly frequently that I can’t Command + T on Magic Keyboard in Safari for a new tab. Found it puzzling at first but I found that I press and hold Command that the keyboard shortcut overlay shows that iOS thinks it’s actually on the Home Screen, not Safari at all. This is all with no form of multitasking in play even.

A mild annoyance, at worst, and probably the worst thing I’ve found so far so pretty good shape for a B1 I think. I await with trepidation whatever this years “troublesome” beta is going to be! Please don’t break anything I care about 😂

I can't seem to find anyone experiencing the same issue as me, but since I installed the beta, my alarm clock isn't working anymore. The only thing that happens when the alarm goes off, is that the screen comes on. No sound, no haptics, nothing. Anyone have a fix for that?

Another beta!

Has happened to me as well. Best thing is to report it.

Setup watch as new as well. Before you that make sure all your health data is being backed on iCloud.
I do also want to give the clean install a shot - is there any way to know if all health/Fitness data is backed up - have a 1000+ days move circle streak going on that I'd hate to lose

Interesting I was just able to replicate this bug as well. I hadn't noticed it because I use my apple watch as an alarm to wake me up, which is working just fine on watchOS 10 beta 1...... I'll report this as well.

Yeah I wish I could do the same. However my series 5's battery is seriously degraded to the point where it can't sustain enough juice to get me through the night with the watchOS 10 beta. Also my specific iOS 17 use case had way too many bugs for my liking to actually use it on a daily basis (since I am a hobby developer and don't have the budget to have 2 iPhones hehe), so I decided it was best to downgrade to iOS 16 and call it a day. At least I won't have to do the walk of shame when I walk into the office 3 hours late...

I think this is more related to my AirPods Pro 2 beta software, but I'm noticing audio fading from time to time. I listen to music, and the audio fades in and out volume-wise. Haven't noticed it yet when listening to music through the iPhone speakers, so conclude it must be an AirPods firmware issue. Anyone else noticed this?
