I think this is more related to my AirPods Pro 2 beta software, but I'm noticing audio fading from time to time. I listen to music, and the audio fades in and out volume-wise. Haven't noticed it yet when listening to music through the iPhone speakers, so conclude it must be an AirPods firmware issue. Anyone else noticed this?
Dp you have Conversation Awareness turned on? If it picks up voices, or sometimes other noise, it lowers the volume of the audio for a bit. It fades back in after you go silent. There's a setting to turn it off.

I learned that I have to turn it off when I'm exercising outside alone, because I apparently sing along to myself sometimes.

Same. While listening to a podcast. But only if I have the new features turned on, I think conversation awareness is the culprit.

My 12mini and iPad Pro are running b1 without any major issues (holding off on my main device until at least b2). However, I'm noticing Search has a lot more prominent ads placement compared to 16.5. Perhaps it's not fully optimized yet, but disconcerting nevertheless.

Edited for clarity.

Good thinking, but I have Conversation Awareness off :/

More watchOS related but it's not taking wrist temperatures anymore (last measurement was on June 10 so it did do it in the beta)

That is odd.
Went and looked and the last recorded Temp was Jun 9.
Both 13 ProMax and AW Ultra are on beta.

On my watch in Settings it says no app or service has access to Wrist Temp.
On my iPhone it just shows the chart and values but shows no method to measure outside of during Sleep Focus.
SF is on.

Doing a bit more digging before I submit a FB report.

Not really sure what’s different here. The suggested app pop up is more visible but it’s really no different.

My clock keeps randomly disappearing from my screen. Seemingly when I open any new app it’s just gone… I’m on a 14 PM. I also randomly lose the ability to reply to one specific group text… the field where you enter new text just disappears after a few hours… so for those are the most annoying bugs I’ve encountered.

That’s exactly what it is. It should only trigger if you speak or if the directional mike in the AirPods detects that someone is talking to you. I’m sure there will be false positives, especially during the beta phase. I’ve turned mine off because I trigger it while walking the dogs (if I have to say something to the dogs). It would almost be better if this feature paused whatever you are listening to (at least if it is spoken word, like a podcast) rather than fade it in or out.

I have the same issue when walking the dog (and I always have something to say to him lol)

AirTags

Sending an AirTag with my household items via moving company.
In prep I set up a new AT.

On my iPad it shows up no problem.
On the 13PM it shows "No location found" and when I click Find Nearby it resprings the phone.

FB# - FB12328791

Update: A turn OFF / ON of Find My in iCloud and a Hard Reboot and the iPhone sees location. Clicking on "Find Nearby" still resprings the iPhone. Interestingly the "Find" option does not show on the iPad.
I've been dealing with the "find my" respring, and haven't found any fix.

I've re-installed from the IPSW 3 times. Turned off / on everything around Find My, bluetooth and the U1 chip.

Looked at the debugs on the phone and in Xcode. Though I'm not a programmer, so might be missing something, didn't see anything jump out as to the cause.

Removed all Air Tags. Removed all bluetooth devices.

Only thing I didn't try was unpairing my Apple Watch.

As I believe it's related to Find My / Bluetooth, I even did everything I could there to no avail. (My U1 was off prior and Find My still functioned, so don't think it's related to the U1 chip)

Searched the net for hours for anything related to the issue and there's NOTHING I could find.

Thinking of either getting a new phone under Apple Care, but waiting for the next update in hopes it resolves something.

Might also blow the phone away and put 16.x on, then 17 via the IPSW and restore from backup.

Bug: In Notes app, while editing a table's content, you can no longer use Shift + Next to enter a new line. It just skips to the next cell in the table.

Just updated Pages to 13.1, which has the Notes integration. Was hoping that edits made to a note in Pages would round-trip back to Notes, even if the additional formatting was in display-only mode. No such luck unfortunately.

I am not sure if it’s a CarPlay issue, iOS17, or what, but I use Waze when in my car with wireless CarPlay, whether or not I use/open Waze after connecting to CarPlay and leaving my vehicle it seems my location stays active with the navigation arrow still being shown like I’m getting directions and I have to manually open up Waze and put it to sleep and then it’s good.

Edit: adding it also looks like apps that use background location services seem to drain the battery much more in the beta
