Anyone else getting major lag when closing apps? Wasn’t happening on beta 1 or few days ago on b2…..I’ve tried rebooting but still lagging when closing apps

That would be really dumb if it ONLY comes to those devices. The post-processing needs work on all devices.
It would be really dumb indeed, especially if we take into account that both the iPhone 13 and 14 share the same A15 SoC, and the A16 is pretty much an overclocked A15. But you know how Apple is, e.g. you only have the “photonic engine” on the 14 models.

I feel like the keyboard got slightly smaller or something in ios17, as I started mistyping and mispressing all over the place after upgrading.
Omg yes. I have so many typing errors constantly. It’s driving me crazy. Almost everything I type is wrong. This post took me multiple attempts to finish. Cause everything is not what I expected i typed. It’s like a keyboard lag perhaps I don’t know

My phone (13) automatically rejects calls when I am wearing my watch. It directs to voice mail. Any workarounds for this bug? It really is a major one, I almost regret also updating my watch. Sent feedback.
It doesn't happen to me at all. 13 Pro Max, Watch S7

Asking Siri the dew point just gives web results with definitions of what dew point means. I could’ve sworn it’s been able to tell you dew point before. Reported it.

And it should be extremely easy for them to implement since their own weather app has that data

Good to know I'm not crazy!
I'm also noticing it much worse in some apps than others. I have a couple of friends I text with in the Google Chat app and you'd think that I have a third grade reading level based on the number of typos AND weird corrections that I get there. It's not like that anywhere else.

(Note, I'm posting this on the macOS Sonoma beta and it just tried to auto correct "have a couple of friends" to "have a could have friends". I watched it happen. Weird.)

I’ll echo what others are saying, my typing accuracy has gotten much worse. It’s as if it’s gotten worse at predicting what letter you were going to type next. For those who don’t know, when the iPhone’s keyboard was developed, it was originally hard to type on in testing. So they made an algorithm that would try to predict what key you’re most likely to type next, and it would increase the active button area on the screen, invisible to the user. It’s like they took a step back on that.

My hope is that they are fine tuning the algorithm and using the data obtained from how we correct the errors the keyboard makes to do this fine tuning. That’s my hope. And I hope that I am not giving them too much credit.

Is that normal that all the „ads“ that are displayed browsing safari are „pixelated“ ?

My last two calls (from spam numbers) left voicemails.

I was really looking forward to the transcript, but nothing…basically stayed on these screens until I got tired of waiting and swiped away.

Was working great for me in beta 1.

You can see that first one happened while phone was locked and second one below was when I was doing something else on the phone at the time the call came in…hence the different screens.

But I can ask for the air quality and works fine.
I also cannot get siri to play news anymore. 💩

Couple of "related" items.

iPad Pro 11
Have an issue with my Apple Watch Ultra on beta 2 and when I opened Feedback on the iPad it took several minutes to load the AW form. Repeatable issue - takes 3 - 7 minutes to load the form.

Apple Watch Ultra
I have two faces setup - Meridian and Nike Hybrid
On both faces the date may not update at midnight. It can take up to 20 hours to correctly display the date.

Ran into the template issue while trying to report the watch issue.

I've been on the betas since they came out and using my Airpods Pro 2 (also updated) every day. No issues.

Yesterday I was watching a Youtube video on my iPad Pro 2020 and the Airpods disconnected. The iPad stopped the video and it only showed the left Airpod on the widget. I put them in the case (they more than 90% charge), took them out and they worked for a while until the issue appeared again.

This morning I was listening to a podcast on my iPhone via Overcast and it happened again.
