Not sure if previously reported, Beta 2 broke the ability to add/withdraw money from Apple savings via the Wallet App for me.

OK so this doesn’t go here and belongs in Sonoma defects but I thought I’d share anyway. I got a chuckle out of it.

My defect report said: Mail displays I have 18,446,744,073,709,551,555 messages. In actuality, I have slightly fewer. 😁

That’s 18.4 quintillion emails! 😂

I would think that Apple would be calling you with a busted server or sucking up toooooooo much Cloud space.

I had my iPhone 11 Pro's battery changed at Apple Store. They made me revert back to ios 16 because an iPhone running on beta cannot be services. After the change I reinstalled 17 beta 2 and restored my backup from iTunes.

Now I have a black screen as lock screen wallpaper. I 3D touch but nothing happens, I don't have options to change Lock Screen appearance. I also selected a photo from the album and clicked "set as wallpaper" in the menu, nothing happens. Setting / Wallpaper has no effect.

Multiple people, including myself, are having the same issue. I think we just have to wait for the next beta.

Reported. And, you can't call Goldman and get them to do it manually. They will tell you to downgrade to resolve.

Does the volume keep changing itself for anyone with AirPods Pro? Sometimes it would randomly lower itself, sometimes it would randomly increase. I also have the latest AirPods beta.
There is a new setting that automatically adjusts the volume when it detects voices or other noises around you. I couldn't figure it out either until someone mentioned it. I can't recall the name of the setting as I don't have my AirPods with me at the moment but it you look around in your AirPods settings you'll find it.

What they’re describing sounds very much like how the Adaptive Transparency feature works, but I believe they said they have that option turned off. Weird.

Glad you found it. That sounds annoying. I know Conversation Awareness is driven by your own noise as well, so if I hum or cough, it lowers the volume as well. A bit irritating, but way more useful overall, imo.

I can’t wait for beta 3. Having a black background for lock screen and Home Screen and no Lock Screen widgets is so boring. 😭 first world problems..
At some point a couple days ago, I changed my wallpaper and all objects on my lock screen began to constantly flash in and out. It was like an arcade game. I had to reboot to stop it.

It all sounds related. I wonder what under-the-hood change is causing these bugs.

I know it’s called conversation awareness. I turned that off right away because it was annoying, but it seems like it’s causing issues with volume levels in general even when it’s disabled.

Oh wow. Interesting. Yeah, like 95% of the bugs I’m experimenting on this beta are graphics related. Battery life has been great though lol which is rare for me on betas.
