Oh I absolutely agree that’s what this is. The bizarreness is not necessarily Apple’s doing. It’s those nice Russian hackers. But its led to some bizarre release cadences.

It's been present on all versions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and watchOS 10 betas for me.

It was just 2 more QA passes, with no updates to the build number. Wouldn‘t expect anything but tiny security fixes.

That is what I was thinking too, BUT so far I have not had the problem of having to back out of a message thread and back into it to be able to see what I am typing and see the send button like I did far too often on Beta3v1.

Did the update. Now the weather widget that I complained about earlier today is working fine and the fitness widget has taken it’s place.

That is what I was thinking too, BUT so far I have not had the problem of having to back out of a message thread and back into it to be able to see what I am typing and see the send button like I did far too often on Beta3v1.

Could just be restart cleaning things up a bit here and there until issues come back full force… until then… knock on wood I guess.

Last beta, I had to either restart my Watch app, or restart my iPhone. It then found the update.
