iOS 17 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

If you are just now getting on iOS 17 via the public beta, welcome!!
Before you post about some "new" issue you are finding, do a search in this thread, and also the beta 1 and beta 2 threads, to see if your issue has been reported before. You may find a workaround for any issues you're finding that way. By doing this, you'll avoid some pushback from existing users.
There probably aren't too many issues that haven't been noticed before by the Developer Beta testers. But if there are any, do post them here!

LOL. Now I am not completely convinced. After going back and looking at my iOS release date spreadsheet, I think it might be the last week of the month, as it was the last 2 years. I would not be surprised either way.

Mute/unmute AirPods in beta 3?
Does anyone have issues with the new feature enabling to mute/unmute AirPods by pressing the stem? I cannot get it to work with my AirPods Pro gen 2. When I press the stem, I get a tone feedback but mute/unmute does not seem to work for me

I don't believe that feature is available yet (unless you are running the AirPods Pro beta).
For those who are annoyed or worried by the Fitnees Widgets not working, i found "Peak - Fitness Widgets" to be a great alternative. -- Peak: Fitness Widgets on the App Store (apple.com)
They offer both home and lock screen icons that very closely mimic apples rings look, as well as provides additonal data. Pro unfortunatly is 1.50$ per month to unlock all the features, but for a short term alternative they are not bad at all.

That’s the reason I’m not jumping on the beta just yet. I’ll wait until it’s fixed.
Just went on a run with Apple Watch. When I check the workout in Fitness app it looks accurate, but whatever HealthFit exported to Strava/Runalyze/Intervals.icu looks completely broken with incorrect pace and other data. It's probably a HealthFit bug?..

I've tried everything to get "find items" to not cause a respring in "find my". Anyone else that's having the issue find a solution? I think there were only 3 of us though, but it's driving me nuts!
@dk001 what is the number of the Feedback report you made? Mine says no similar reports and I want to add yours for reference.

You’re expecting a beta that’d be gone in 2 weeks to fix your battery issues? Would you not update to the next beta if it improved your battery usage? Things are a swing and a miss when it comes to betas of a major version. Only focus should be features and bug fixes and never battery life as it’s only temporary till the next beta.
If you haven’t already and if it’s an option you should try to reset all settings and see if it fixes anything over the next couple days. If that fails the nuclear option would be to start from scratch.
Bug I’ve noticed, on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. In the Apple TV app, the movies I bought that have Dolby Vision/HDR, no longer show that. There also used to be a section in my Library in the Apple TV app that showed the movies I have that I can watch in HDR. That section is now gone.
The keyboard is messed up for Telegram, the input box and send button for typing disappears and is covered by the keyboard, requiring the app to be reopened.
That’s an issue others have had, including me, and not just for Telegram. It’s affecting Messages too.
Hit return and your input area should show up. Or it will if your text wraps to a second line.
