iOS 17 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

New issue?
13 ProMax and Apple Watch Ultra - both on beta.
On the watch using the Meridian watch face.
Temp will not display. If I click (touch) the temp on the watch it displays all the weather detail. On return to watch face, the temp is lined out.

Tried resetting, even rebuilt the watch layout. No fix.
Will try a few other things before I file a FB.

Maps will constantly not be able to get my location. A force close off the app fixes it but happens several times a day and randomly.

Self reply to add more picture of different formats of the widget. And no, I am not endorsed by the dev team in any way. Just highly annoyed by native widgets not working 😁

Does it update pretty frequently? I like that this widget also displays steps

Opening a PDF file in Dropbox hangs the app. I can open a PDF in Telegram, it's OK to scroll, zoom but you cannot go back, you can't close the file, you can't use the share button. I can open a PDF in Safari but hitting the share button hangs the app, I also could not return to the previous page.

Could this be a privacy app access issue? I’ve had a few.

I don’t know how to turn this on, and would love it. Is it only locks, or does it work with other doors like garage doors?

Sometimes the Weather app for "My Location" picks one of my defined cities at random instead of actually using my location. I have an Asian city in my list, and when I turned my phone on this morning was surprised to find out it was already 35°C. However, it had decided my location (only for the weather app) was Taipei. So make sure the app really knows where you are.

I gave up and just set the city I'm in rather than use my location.

My watch used to always go back to Cupertino on boot. I don‘t have that city in my list.

No problem with Homebridge here. Are you all in one bridge, or do you isolate with child bridges?

I’m not sure Homebridge should be with apps, as it’s and external server that interfaces with HomeKit and Home.app.

Complications in watchOS 10 are a royal mess. Especially the weather ones. I assume they will get better towards GA. Give feedback.

Many users have reported issues with weather on watchOS 10, you’re not alone. I personally use Carrot for my complications and have no issues.

I have this in ma AW 7 since b2, you can change to other face and then return and most of times it loads again.
 
If you take a photo with macro lens and zoom in digitally, then go to photos and open the photo first it shows on gallery fine zommed, when open it zooms out to default 0.5 width or if you open edit it does that. It wasn’t happening on last betas. I13PM
 
Information Widgets on the left-most homescreen seem to not show any data until you launch their app, including Sleep and Activity :rolleyes:

One other annoyance, when I select a photo or meme, then click "share", no one from recent texts pop up. It's always the same people that I sent a text from a few days earlier.

Main reason I can’t keep the beta on my phone. If I can’t see what I’m texting, what’s the use? Been submitting feedback since beta 1 on the issue.
