Interesting on my 13 ProMax.
Phone - even after a couple of hard reboots.

New one for me.

I get that with every single restart. It’s happened since DB 1. Goes away after a few seconds.

Mine stayed around. Finally got rid of it by going in and cleaning out my Recents.
Now it’s gone.

On a side note, I have several VMs that are back. They were in the deleted folder but have mysteriously moved to back to active.

If you have downloaded the developer beta can you switch back to the public beta?
If so how?

I'm not on the updated beta, but I've never seen this prompt before when logging into an app, it seems new

New to me for sure.
And again Apple release new versions of the dev betas for iOS and MacOS with the *SAME* beta number as the previous one and no release notes to say why they've done it.

So, like last time, I won't be updating. I'll wait for DB5.
Interesting approach. They built beta 4 and you installed, beta 5 and you will install but this one you won’t because…?

Last beta I was unable to delete voicemails but I never saw that dot. I just verified that voicemails stay deleted in this build.

There is no way that a battery that's been cycled 123 times is at 100%, though. That's like drinking 1/4 of a bottle of orange juice and saying it's still 100% full. Which means that the battery health indicator is really not totally reliable, for whatever reason.
or that battery is one of the good ones of the bunch, starting at like 110% instead of 100.

Anyone have issues with Live activities from the TV app for sports? Not sure if its a coincidence or if its a bug from updating to Beta 4 re-release but MLB games no longer offer the option for live activities from the TV app

So has anyone else gotten feedback about what the caller hears when live voicemail is on? It's pretty funny. My step-mom said it was so rude. So I called my partner who has the beta too, and it says, "Leave a message after the tone and they might pick up..." and then there's no tone. hahahaha. I just had a voicemail from her like, okay...hello....hellooooo...I guess it's recording...that was so weird and rude!...." hahahaha. I laughed so hard when I heard it. May need to submit some feedback recommending a nicer message and to actually include a tone. hahaha.

I wondered why I got an odd voicemail message. They said, "I don't think it'll leave a message."

Ohhh that explains my voicemail from my brother saying "umm....there's no tone? Is it recording? PICK UP BYE"

There's a tone, but it's very short and faint. If you're calling from anywhere other than a quiet room, you'd probably miss it.

Also, you can record you're own greeting, but it still has the same tone at the end.
I was using my Airpods Max with noise cancellation on, there was definitely no tone. lol. And there's nowhere in settings that I can find where you can record your own message for Live Voicemail, can you share a screenshot of where to go?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. haha. Hopefully they fix it! It makes me wonder how it works exactly. It's like intercepting the voicemail but at the same time leaving the voicemail. lol.

I am to give the re-release a shot as I have run into bug, where when I am listening to some stream (app music, apple tv) via my APP 1st gen and pause the playback, put the airpods in case, then the playback resumes.
If that stays after the upgrade, I am going to report it.

Because it's just beta 4 again, which I already have. I can only assume they fixed an install issue (some people here and Reddit have complained that the "original" beta 4 wouldn't install for them).

As i obviously didn't have that issue, and all Apple have done is replace one B4 with another one for people who've yet to install it, I can't find the point of reinstalling my betas with the same thing. Just a waste of time.

If they decide to say *why* they re-released it, and it contains something in the functionality itself that they've fixed, then I'll install it.

Well it might be security related, which is why I always install these re-releases.

Or they discovered something important between the time the released the developer preview and the time they intended to release the public beta (remember, the public beta appears as if it may have been “late” based on past years). They fixed it for the public beta and decided that they might as well have both developers and the public working from the same codebase. So they rereleased the same code as an updated Developer Preview. Makes sense actually.

Perhaps they fine tuned their delivery apparatus this year allowing them to do these simultaneous deliveries more easily. That may be what all the modifications to the software update page were all about.
