I don’t see a way to rearrange iMessage apps so that more commonly used things (#images, for example) can be brought up into the options that appear as soon as you touch the plus sign.
Hold the icon and drag up.

Noticed this animation on the weather widget too.Is this battery widget animation new?
So far it’s much improved over beta 3, but not quite as good as I was getting on 16.5.1. I’ve had an off charger for a few hours tonight with moderate usage and I am at about 85%. Un beta three that would have been in the low 70s easily. How is battery life with the latest BETA? Anybody noticing a difference compared to ios16?

Adguard is working fine for me. 14 Pro Max. It was on iOS 16.6 and today I finally jumped on DB4 directly. The app launches, but doesn’t work properly. Cant load its lists into Safari and also throws other errors. On all my iOS devices running Beta 3 and 4. Multiple bug reports on Adguards support website have been made where they acknowledge that Apple changed some things and they’re waiting for Apple to fix them in a new beta.
Another user on this forum also listed Wipr as having issue and the FAQ on the Wipr devs site says the app is broken since Beta 3 and they’re working with Apple on a fix.
I assumed this is not a “some users” bug but rather the underlying system used by these blockers has been broken by Apple for all users. So maybe check again if it really is working for you.
Yeah, that’s probably it. DNS is working as it should, actually listed as a work around on their website. I actually just now paid for a premium subscription in order to enable DNS filtering. Works good. It’s the safari extensions specifically that are the problem, which are the only thing available without a subscription.I’m also using AdGuard custom DNS, so it could be what I’m seeing isn’t the local app, but the DNS level filters.
Time for me to test the beta!
According to users seems pretty good ☺️
I've been having this issue all through iOS 16 and now iOS 17 betas. I have reported this a few times now with no fix. Can't figure out why they can't get this to work the way it should. Maybe they can get someone from Android development to show them how to get it to work.Is the always on display issue still on this beta? when the phone goes to sleep it goes all black instead of AOD. I’m on iOS 16 and keep having this issue. Thinking of installing iOS 17 now with this beta
usually beta 8 then RC ?How many betas usually appear prior to GM? I think I might install iOS 17 when it’s much closer to completion.
The ‘low hanging fruit’ bugs like service drops, rotation issues, dropped frames, battery loss etc seem like too much of a trade off for the benefits offered at this early stage. The system seems to be peppered with such small niggles - should be renamed ‘iOS Hard Restart’ 🤣
After trying since 10am PST this morning, I finally restarted my router and restarted all HomePods and it seems to be installing now.
Fixed for me for both 14Pro and XS Max. That was the very first thing I checked after updating. 😅So significant location still not fixed.
Works fine for meis the keyboard/scroll working fine in Instagram DMs?
I've encountered issue with Apple Maps, where 3D view could be only activated when viewing Satellite mode. For the remaining 3 modes (Explore, Driving, Public Transportation) the "3D" button does not appear when close enough to the surface.
You have to switch to Satellite mode, then activate 3D and then switch back to Explore mode to experience the 3D mode. Once you switch back to 2D the button disappears again.
