The badge (unread) numbers being incorrect is back. Again.

The badge is saying “x” and when you open the app it shows the same however the actual number of Inbox unread is different.
Add to this the Junk folder count. I am finding the Junk account is also wrong until you enter it.

You would think this would be easy to fix.

Mail app is acting up for me as well, VIP inbox isn't populating properly and pulls in hundreds of random emails or misses ones that should be there.

The processing, much less of it or at least it looks that way. I instantly noticed my photos no longer look that much like watercolor paintings if that makes sense. I prefer the look that lets more grain in instead of smoothing all of it over leaving faces that look like they’re made of plastic in less than ideal lightning conditions that we had before the iPhone 13 and this is closer to that. Very noticeable especially when you zoom in.

I was already irritated by the fact custom tones don't get sync'd to my Macbook, but now it's even worse.

I noticed as well that my custom rings aren't listed within text tones and new mail. I tested the text tone by sending a message from another iPhone to me, and it still had my custom text tone. However, after changing the text tone, my custom text tone was gone forever. :(

I guess it's a bug?

I've always found that Apple Music sounds, to me at least, quieter than Spotify. Sound Check makes it even worse, as do some of EQ presets.

Ok! Thank you. I shoot ProRAW all the time, occasionally I’ll take a photo in HEIF that doesn’t require raw, so that’s good to know. I appreciate the feedback.

I would quit FB permanently if I could. However everyone moved there after MySpace died, so I have to be on if I want to be aware of bands' comings and goings, tours, new releases, etc.

I want to reiterate... my actual usage has not changed. That embarrassing 20% block of FB usage has basically been the same since my iPhone 3G.

For anyone on Verizon, has your phone become useless at times when you aren't on wifi?

I know this is late in the game, but I'm grasping at straws here. Everyone, especially my parents, rave about their VZW coverage. When I got my 14PM, I switched for the savings between my plan and my FIOS.

I first noticed that I had no signal (either searching or straight up SOS) in places where I would normally expect to have signal. Major highways. Amusement parks*. Towns. Etc.. My girlfriend with her 13P on AT&T would be able to doomscroll all day, yet I couldn't even send an SMS.

*my family all being on VZW were able to use their phones without issue. I couldn't do anything data-related the entire time we were there. Even standing right next to them.

Then I started noticing times where I'd be at 2 bars of 5G or even 5 full bars of UW, yet couldn't connect to the internet. The only resolution was to reboot my phone. There's a UW node about a half block from where I live. The second my phone dropped off my wifi, I couldn't load Maps directions (even with 17's offline maps).

I've worked with VZW's tech support and got the usual "we see no outages" lines. I went to the Apple Store yesterday and my phone passed all of their testing. The Genius didn't come right out and blame the beta, but inferred that it could be a factor.

Has anyone else had trouble? This honestly started happening when I was on the betas for 16, but I only started seeing the unusable full signal problem in the last few weeks.

I don't believe it does. Haven't had to do it in a while but it never did that for me as I recall. It does change wallpapers tho. At least when it was set in settings and not the new way.

Maybe try the web version in Safari instead of the app for a bit. Just a thought.

Phone > Voicemail

Took a look at my VM's and all my deleted VM's from the last week of August till now are back in the VM "inbox".
This is like the third time in 17 beta this has occurred.

Mint-Mobile > TMobile network.
