I'm hoping this gives us a nice break until our next update but If I recall last year there was a 16.1.2 update so I won't be shocked if we get another one before 17.2

Today seems like a good time for the second iOS 17.2 beta to get seeded. I still wonder why some received new phone calls in IOS 17.x arrive without (I) info showing to click for block call as example. Eventually they show after so much time in sleep, or you shut down and power on then it’s good.

Refresh my recollection: why do the new MBP’s need 14.2? (Serious question)
YOu can't Migrate 14.2 Beta 1 onto the new MBP M3 hopefully Sonoma Beta 2 may fix that. I assume that's the thought process. And often Betas all fall on the same day.

I’m sure that Apple will provide a path for hardware that is out now but wasn’t out when 14.2 b 1 dropped to join the beta. However, they are not going to alter their timing of the beta release to do so. It was either going to come out on a particular day or it wasn’t. The number of M3 MBPs in the wild is not sufficiently large to change that one way or the other.

I guess it looks like tomorrow… 🙁. I’ll just have to dream about my missing Home Screen clock widget… 😴😂🤣
