I would say RC today or tomorrow with final on 11 Dec (Monday).
Alternatively, we could have another beta today or tomorrow, the RC on 11-12 and the public release on 18 Dec (Monday as well).
RC tomorrow , monday releases for RC are not usual.
Cat 1 and Cat 2 were playing with Fish, gently stroking him in his tank. Then Cat 2 made Cat 1 jump and he accidently swiped Fish out of the tank, who then flew through the air and hit my calendar. The date was Tuesday 5th.
Fish then was gently placed back in his tank, and all was well.
Going for a Tuesday 5th RC, and then released Monday 11th would be great. 
Feels like an RC to me.
Wouldn’t be shocked if the build number didn’t change for the RC tomorrow.
Agreed. No crashes, good battery and I don’t even recall any UI glitches since I installed beta 4.
That’s all nice and you may be correct regarding the timing of the RC.
But that’s not how Apple determines that the next release will be the RC. They have a schedule and they release to that schedule unless something is wrong enough to justify holding it back.
Remember, correlation is not causation: the fact that the build is smooth may be because Apple is ready to release 17.2 and not the other way around.
Darn it I wanted release candidate of 17.2 so much today.
Two hours! I am mostly having issues with macOS, so waiting for this one.
Should get your wish for RC in about 45 mins. iOS 17.2b4 has been fairly solid.
