What new improvements or minor features do we think might come with iOS 17.3? I’m hoping they expand AirPlay Receiver to include support for iPhone and iPad screen mirroring as well. It looks exactly identical to the AirPlay Receiver setting on macOS. If they were going to limit it to only the Vision Pro being able to make use of it, they should have named it something else, like “Vision Pro Display Link”, or “Vision Pro Screen Mirroring”… So I’m hoping for that, and I’m still hoping we either get the ability to use Control Center on an external monitor, and/or a true clamshell mode for the iPad when connected to an external monitor. 👍🏻

Take it from someone who’s “been there” before: running betas over the holidays can be a bummer when there’s a bug and you have to wait an extra week…
We have no clue to what attraction 17.3 beta 1 will consist of. I really like to see Classical show up on CarPlay as one suggestion. Separate genres for TV content inside library on Apple TV, perhaps a list view instead of images when searching library. If it's some new app, probably would not really use it. ;)

Well, taking into account that tvOS RC beta 2 and Mac OS RC beta 2 were released last Friday, I´m going to say that the final public release will happen next week, perhaps on Monday 18th, just before the holidays.

Nah should be today, they sometimes push last min changes but I’m sure it’s today

I could see something like this delaying things by a day. But there’s no way this will delay things by a full week or more.

Remember that each RC is expected to be the released software. So unless there’s something more wrong with the RC2s for tvOS and Mac OS, they should be ready for release as soon as possible.
