iOS 17 Speculation Thread

We had up to 4 weeks without a new Beta cycle. Still with everything that is going on, it means a more comprehensive update is involved. (fixes/changes/patching)
Yeah. This former Android user (9 years ago) laughed so hard when I had to wait months and months for routine updates on my work-issued Samsung Galaxy phone.
What would count as “meaningful”? I have pretty low expectations for a fifth point release of an iOS version.
Lots of bug fixes it seems.
Aside from problems mentioned in other threads, some of those suggested changes to TV app, Apple Music import playlists, Classical working with CarPlay.
Zollo guaranteeing 17.4.1 comes out today. Looks like we'll see that first
Possible, but not guaranteed at all. Remember that iOS 17.3.1 was released on 8 Feb, preceded by iOS 17.4 Beta 2 on 6 Feb. At this point I would see more “value” in releasing iOS 17.5 Beta 1 first, as there are not so many important bugs in iOS 17.4.
With them repairing the errors that are occurring, we can already settleLots of bug fixes it seems.

Something must come out today, right? Right?
I’m hoping that either iOS 17.5 or some future update will add support for AirPlay Receiver working with devices other than Vision Pro. It should be something that could be added in 17.5 or an iOS 17 update, since AirPlay Receiver has already been added on iOS and iPadOS 17. All that needs to happen now is expanded support. I don’t think that would require iOS 18, but maybe it will come then if not in 17.5. We should hopefully see a new beta in about 10 minutes! 👍🏻
Where did he guarantee? I looked but couldn't find anything.
So Zollo taking a high percentage guess in hopes that it happens so he can be a “inside source”
Hoping for today as 17.4 is worse than 17.0 beta 1 for me.
he said on his video last night should be out monday night or if not than less than 24 hours later
