17.3.1 update was released on a thursday so there is still time this week for a 17.4.1

IMO it's no doubt going to be tomorrow but IMO if it's not we'll likely see it next week. I'm not feeling we have a thursday release this week
 
I start wondering if Apple’s energy is currently indeed being diverted into tweaking the iOS into the DMA compliance, as the EC response to iOS 17.4 introduced changes is actually the only bit Apple cannot control directly. This can probably affect their initial release schedule of 17.5 betas. Hence the delays. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why is it so hard for people here to accept that Apple likely changed its release timeline for 17.4 to accomodate the DMA and has just reverted to its already pre-planned schedule for the balance of the 17.x releases? Its the simplest explanation and, thus, using Occam's Razor, the best explanation.

I agree with this.

It's even possible that the pending iPad release is blocking Apple from pushing these updates.
