I really think we're getting a new beta tomorrow tho. Beta 4 on Tuesday seems more likely. Pure speculation. I know nothing! 🤫
34 minutes to find out whether we're getting DEV b4 today and make our day/night happy.

I’d love to see Beta 4 this week (especially today!), but last week’s Beta 3 re-release and the way things went with the iOS 15 and 16 Beta 4 releases have me thinking we may not see anything this week. Fingers crossed, though.
I think today will be all about making @Abthevolfan92 happy with the release of iOS 16.6RC.
I’m not sold on this week as the next beta for iOS 17 given the pattern of the last 2 years. I won’t rule it out but I’d say the odds favor the next beta next week (likely Tuesday) rather than this week.
But who knows for sure!

I always thought Monday had the lowest chance of this weeks 5 days odds IMHO. Just kinda expecting it mid this week for devs. 🙃

Revisions afaik reset the counter though, so could be that we see no new beta this week.
Apple has their schedule in place long before we start speculating on it. The curveball revision release doesn't change how they plan on releasing anything after a revision.
And there was also the Zero Day issue with the RSR that was pulled... Last week was not the normal "hey Apple released another Dev Beta to shore up the Public Beta builds" type of situation.
Proposing a bet, loser has to put „{WINNER_USERNAME} was right“ in their signature until iOS 18 betas.
We're on page 66 of a "Speculation" thread and you wanna bet on it lol
We had a revision to beta 3 last year and beta 4 was still the last week of July. History doesn't have to repeat itself but the fact that last week's was a revision shouldn't mean beta 4 automatically will come this week.

Also, tomorrow will be 2 weeks since watchOS 10 beta 3, since we never got a revised beta for that one.
Zero day bug, rerelease of beta 3 year on year... and I'd love for it to drop today because I lurrrrrrrrrrv an update, but my gut thinks it's just part of the cycle with a new iOS releases now (not point releases). Beta 4 on the scheduling gets 3 weeks. Maybe thats the crucial time for bug reports to be in and features need to be 95% complete. 5,6 and 7, is then just refinement stages before launch.

It was also a minor security revision, not like WebKit, or Darwin kernel saw any changes. What did it fix that effects/delays a OS that won’t ship for months? As you said Watch OS is ready for DB4.
