Guys! This week is not over yet it's just started. Now I have a feeling, tomorrow seems likely. I don't want to wait until Thursday.

@Pearsey was right all along. He did mention his sneaky suspicion it will be on Wednesday.

Beta 6 being dropped next week = 0% chances. Tomorrow is the day?

Hasn’t happened yet 😉

New Beta 6 is out!

Funny, I don’t recall a beta ever being released so late in the day. Interesting times we live in.

Ummm…. Maybe you want to check things, as your post looks a little silly.
Actually there was no MacOS 14 beta 6 today. So it's only a partial release of the OS's. Also no patch for the MacOS 13.5 location services issue after 2 weeks also. But this goes with my earlier comment that they could ship iOS 17 separately before Sonoma is ready.

I don’t think anyone was arguing that all the OSes were updated today. As to Sonoma coming after iOS, I think that’s a given, in that OSx / MacOS have been shipping their major releases in October/November for a number of years now.

We’re in the iOS 17 section, not MacOS, and the OP didn’t say anything about MacOS in their post.

So, you’re bringing MacOS in for no apparent reason.

Also, MacOS’s x.0 public release for the last 5 years or so, have always come after iOS’s x.0 release (usually October when iOS is September), with MacOS’s betas not going weekly when iOS goes weekly. So, of course Sonoma is going to release separately to iOS 17.
