Another Tuesday is here, which means likely beta 8 today for iOS 17 users.
But it’s Tuesday! Must have been a heck of a vacation!

Ooo that lines up. So, that means RC will come out after that, and therefore no beta next week, as we have 2 weeks between the last beta and RC. 🤓
Beta 8 is 7 builds ahead of Beta 7. That's somewhat substantial for one week and being this close to RC.
For iOS 16, Beta 8 was only 2 builds ahead of Beta 7. iOS 16 RC was only 6 builds newer than Beta 7. So either they're still making decent large updates this late in the cycle or iOS 17 Beta 8 is a lot closer to RC than we realize.

I suspect the latter. Beta 8 is probably what’s going on new iPhones in production. I’d predict that the RC will only be a build or two ahead.
I’m leaning towards Beta 8 becomes the RC, but if not, then definitely only a couple builds ahead like you say.
