Came across a bug in the health app. When setting sex I get this.

Anyone else notice this?

I get that screen (without the apps) when tapping on “sex” in health details, but to select “sex” I tap “edit” at the top of the health details page then tap “sex” for the select menu. I can’t remember if this was process before.

That solved it, health details and edit.

Thanks.

I have to say the bug where app icons disappear is the most annoying bug I’ve seen in recent iOS builds

It’s unpleasant. It’s hardly unusable.*

*assuming the touch target is still there to open the app.
Yes. I should have written that I would find it unusable. I guess I have a low tolerance for visually broken UI elements.

Hey!
Has anyone had a problem with Calendar displaying meetings for past months in the current monthly view? Mine for example is displaying a full view of meetings and dates set for August in October.

So when is 18.0.1 coming out for touchscreen issues and possible camera fix issues? I read that Apple is testing it currently to push out before 18.1.

Hopefully that means those fixes will be added to the next 18.1 beta as well

That topic and more are discussed exhaustively in the following thread. This thread is more to discuss issues and observations about 18.1 beta 5.

Have run into this a few times lately.
In Safari and getting an update on a package or shipment. In the past if you selected the shipment tracking ID, one of the menu options was to track shipment.

It is now gone. Here is an example for a UPS shipment:

Works this way now for USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc…

Weather app is completely screwed. I keep getting alerts for California. I’m in Southern Illinois. Not a cloud in the sky today and I am seeing rain alerts.

Anyone else getting severe weather alerts in the weather app for the Cupertino area even if they deleted Cupertino from their locations?
Do you have an Apple Watch? I found Cupertino was on the watch’s weather app locations even when not on my phone.

My new iPhone 16 Pro Max failed to download 18.1b5 "error download failed" just at the end of the download progress bar, although my 15 Pro Max was fine doing the same. Any tips or ideas?

Was out and about last night taking some photos and my 15PM froze and shut down whilst in the camera. First time this has happened, hopefully not again! It wouldn’t power back on with just the power button, had to do the soft reset.
