Oh. Works for UK.
Updates are always good to have even in my situation of owning iPhone 11 Pro in EU which in any case will not get AI functionality.hi everyone,
i´m getting more and more confused with the hole AI situation : from what one can read on the online articles 18.1 betas come with minor tweaks ( as expected) and 18.1 is mainly about the first batch of AI based crap.
Because if that is the case then the update is almost completely pointless for EU users ( or for anyone that does not speak English in general), right ?
Sure, there probably are bugfixes, ui tweaks and so on but if Apple doesn't give these users any visible incentive ... do you really think people are going to update ?
cheers
Only works however if you have text selected. So it’s really just a shortcut to the same tools you’d get with the context menu. But much easier to access.
So if I am viewing a Note it shows in the menu but does nothing:
View attachment 2427054
If I select text in the Note then it is functional:
View attachment 2427055
That seems kind of useless.
Works the same on iPad Pro with and without Magic Keyboard, and iPhone.
Region, language and App Store need to be US. I tried with EU App Store account but AI not available.Don’t need to change the App Store, just the region and then language to English US.

I run/test it on a 14PM without issues - as it will be nevertheless the future for those tooAnyone tried 18.1 b5 on 14PM, or is it just not worth it vs 18..?
Interesting I just tried it and iMessage came up. No options on which messaging app.OK, this may or may not be new: if I use Siri to send a message using the command “send a message, “when the dialogue comes up with my text, there is a selector for which app I can use to send the message. The apps listed are Messages Gmail, Teams, Rover (the dog-sitting app!) and Dialpad (the conference calling app).
I don’t recall having options like these before.
I seem to recall the same situation when using Siri on my watch. I said Siri send message and prompted to who?
Is this wireless CarPlay or wired? Brand of Car? I have a wireless CarPlay adapter and spoke a text to my wife while I was listening to a song. After the text was sent the music was playing but with no sound...I checked all inputs with no resolution. I closed music and reopened and problem resolved itself. Toyota Rav4 Hybrid..Had another CarPlay bug today. Was at a red light, listening to Pocket Casts, pulled my phone out and texted my wife. Audio stopped and CarPlay disconnected.
Also not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but the list of recently updated apps seems to be clearing itself daily. Can't see any history beyond the check I did this morning.
no crashing here. do you have a way to replicate this? The Music app is crashing when downloading music.
HOURS in background all day, eating my battery.Anybody's Photos app got background activity at midnights?
Could it be Apple Intelligence running my memories?
