@Pearsey (I think) used the term Dashboard and I’m not sure if it has a real name or not, but its the bar at the bottom of the message. Tap the left facing arrow at the bottom right and more tools appear, including the Apple Intelligence “tool”

Ahh ok, found it now! It's called the "shortcut bar" I think, and I didn't have it on my iPad, as I had disabled "Shortcuts" in my keyboard settings (there was an annoying bug in iOS 17 I think where it would always hover in the wrong place and wouldn't allow me to send messages using Telegram).

I'm happy with this update. I have an iPhone 11 Pro. I was struggling with keyboard lags, sluggish scrolling, re-loading apps when switching. These are mostly solved now. But I still cannot search for an emoji when reacting to a message on Instagram (Whatsapp is fine).

Couple bugs I’ve noticed on my 13P.

1. Noticing some lag with Settings app like long pressing for Battery takes a couple seconds before it opens.

On my iPhone 11, Settings has an annoying issue/bug/design-fault where when I open it and scroll straight down to the bottom to click on "Apps", it then decides "oh wait a minute you use the Wallet, let me just add Wallet & Apple Pay and move Apps down so you miss click on it. Haha".

Peeking in with a humble request… Anyone have screenshots of the tweaked privacy indicators?

Last time I got on a beta train my MacBook got bricked, so I reconsidered getting it on this phone.

Tbh had this update since last night, probably less bugs than the official 18.0.1 update. Smooth as hell, on my 16pm no apps are crashing from my short time on it. Battery is still 99% after scrolling TikTok and safari for an hour 👀

When this happends, there are also touch issues and scrolling is very sluggish in every app. How is the animation in the video is how I see the screen, not with 120hz.

Pioneer aftermarket. Worked fine on the 18.0 betas on an iPhone 15. Constant problems with my 16PM on 18.1b4-6.
That sucks. Check for a firmware update from Pioneer. Prolly the only thing that will help. Sorry mate.

Never will understand why come work fine and others don't. Seems like it would be a simple enough standard to adhere to. Something on Apple's end I would imagine, but they won't dare fix.

So on my wife’s iMessage it shows me as having notifications silenced after this update even though I don’t have the phone on silent. Tried restarting, toggle on / off and it still shows silenced. 16 Pro Max I’m running.

If she isn’t on the same iOS as you and your on beta software… does not surprise me. Will sort itself out once your both on official release iOS.

14Pro - Still - no app icons after StandBy
Tapping on each app, or a restart brings them back.

And now I am getting Smart Reply suggestions in Mail. And they are very good! You tap on the one you like tone-wise, and it fleshes out a whole message.

It doesn’t appear in all replies however. Trying to figure out what triggers it.
