Anyone experiencing battery drain with Wireless Carplay

Currently both iOS 18.0 / 18.01 has battery drain when connected Wirelessly

Maybe its got the pregnant glow? Or had a great date this weekend and is still over the moon thinking about it? (Assuming you have the female Siri.) If the male probably got a fancy new Magsafe charger this weekend and is still pumped about it. :)

On Beta 4 the drain on wireless CarPlay was bad….i haven’t tried it yet on B5 but works great on wired CarPlay with no heating like it did on B4…update on battery 24 hrs later and Ive lost 7% battery life in 2.5 hours of lite use….but its only been 24 hours since the update.

In my estimation they are somewhat meh. Especially for scheduled summaries. Frequently the headline and the summary are derived from different notifications. Not particularly helpful.
 
Haven't been on the beta train for awhile, usually don't encounter terrible bugs. Debating on if I should put it on my 16 pro max, or wait for stable release. Hmm

Has anyone else noticed that you can't play videos taken with the 16P and 16PM while on a phone call using Airpods Pro (it seems to not be an issue with other BT headphones, such as my Sony WH-1000XM3s)? Really weird.
 
Has anyone experienced bluetooth issues? My Anker Q45s will no longer connect despite restarting both devices + factory resetting the headphones - they work fine with my other devices. My AirPods still connect, too.
