I believe this is the intended behavior. The automatic mode for icons changes automatically only depending on whether you have light mode or dark mode enabled for the entire UI.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Even when I toggle the dark mode and light mode for the entire UI, the icons remain stuck in dark mode.

Edit: fixed it by first saving light icons then enabling automatic. Now it works as intended.

In the previous beta 18.1 beta 7 Wise notifications stopped working for me.

Edit after your laughing emoji . You crack me up mate. As I do myself also. What I was supposed to have said originally was “ hey I noticed you use the Wise App, did you find it not giving you notifications on beta 7?”

It has been documented an innumerable amount of times that the “smart” Siri, which will be more chatGPT-like, won’t release until next year. Continuing check Siri is an exercise in futility until such time.

is AI supposed to be in the UK as its not in the EU or is it being considered part of EU from Apple’s side? For now I have it set to US english as a workaround but I miss my Irish Siri voice

The Emojis are much bigger on my 16 Pro Max. One less row. And with my recents some are missing. It is a total mess.

Is that intentional that they are bigger now? Anyone else with that bug?

the sticker bug is still present i in ios 18.1 rc if Ur missing emoji turn off stickers and the missing ones should appear

Very, smooth. Unlocking the phone is instant and scrolling is fluid so far---I charged the phone while updating to 95%, pulled off over an hour ago, took photos, emails, surfed the internet---still on 95%. But battery life is WAY too early to gauge right now.

You can change the voice and still use Ai. My voice is set to British.

It’s feeling smoother especially when typing. Battery is draining fast on 16 Pro but likely from having just installed the update. But feels very fluid.

All great so far on my 15PM. Battery is dropping faster but that’s to be expected straight after a new software update. Performance wise it feels good, all is fast & fluid.

Alignment looks a bit off here when swiping down from the top of my iPP. Wonder if it has anything to do with the “More Space” option that I have enabled.

Edit: Yes, looks like that was it. When using “Standard” it appears formatted properly.

Got the latest update on the AirPods that came out just now but cant see how you would start the test, is it in settings - got a feeling this maybe a US only feature for the time being
