So this is actually supposed to work, although it seems to be a bug that it doesn't yet.

Or maybe developers can only install their own marketplaces (signed with their own developer certificate)? That's not clear. It's also not clear if this is supposed to continue working after moving to a stable, non-beta release. Or maybe it works for all developers with a paid developer account. Too little information around, but for sure something is going on.
If the average user isn’t supposed to do it, it’s fine. I already side load Fortnite with my developer account, but would definitely make it a lot easier through Epic Games Store

Why does this not surprise me. It’s almost like Apple’s version of ‘bloatware’, adding valueless features to the OS for basic marketing gains.

I guess this is pretty normal for a mature platform. All the properly useful features have already been added.

You know, why don’t you wait til more than one person condemns a feature to jump on the “it’s garbage” bandwagon, particularly when most don’t have it yet.

If you type to siri and write "ask chatgpt *insert anything in any language* it will show you answers in any language.

Also the compose feature works in any language

I'm sorry, what? Some people actually hold value in features like these, they aren't "valueless". And they definitely aren't bloatware.
I guess there are a wide variety of users. To me, the current Ai features in both the 18.2 beta and the 18.1 RC are so close to pointless distractions that I see them as iOS system-level bloatware.

It’s ok to have different opinions of course.

Well let’s wait and see what the popular opinion is when all of the Apple Intelligence features roll out.

I’m of the opinion that the novelty will wear off incredibly quickly and the true vacuousness of Apple’s new Ai features will be all too apparent.

Perfectly fine to have opposing views of course. That’s want makes things interesting after all.

I’m not sure if this has been addressed or if I made a mistake, but is anyone else not seeing badges on the Mail app? I switched to using all Mail, but I still don’t have any badges.

Would be good to get more control over the photos of yourself that Image Playground uses. A lot of the photos it uses for me are a few years old so would be good to be able to manually select some newer ones.

Having the same issue. Will only suggest photos of myself from 10 years ago!

It seems there is indeed an actual wait involved with the waitlist for Image Generation/Genmoji. I joined last night, went to sleep (it’s 8 am here now), and still haven’t received any notification.

I suppose they want to gradually allow people access to this feature, unlike 18.1 Apple Intelligence, which was released in a half hour or so.
Same. Joined around 4pm ET and still waiting as of 5am ET.

I'd like to say it's because I've lost weight since then (I haven't...well I have, but have since put it back on). But my hair is longer and I do look quite different in general.

Interesting, is there way to turn off the new layout? I have work email on my phone, and it seems no email is deemed “Primary” for me.
You can reclass mail as primary by opening it and hitting the 3 dots in the top right. If that doesn’t work for you, it appears you can turn it off by hitting the 3 dots in the top right on the main screen.

Interesting, thanks. Still no badges. Very odd, I guess it’s a bug.
