Don’t know if this was already a thing (I don’t think so hence asking) but are app opening/closing/switching animations really stuttery when on a call with 18.1b1?

Certainly looks/feels different.

Would be good to get more control over the photos of yourself that Image Playground uses. A lot of the photos it uses for me are a few years old so would be good to be able to manually select some newer ones.
You can. Click the plus sign and select take photo or choose photo. Choose a more recent photo of yourself.

Is there any way to update the output Siri/ChatGPT gives after you finish one “session”? For example, in Notes I asked it to plan me a trip and it spat out an itinerary. Then I left Notes to go to Safari and wanted to come back and add something to the original query, hoping it would rewrite the output with my additional request added in. But I couldn’t figure out a way to get back into the original “session”.

Doesn’t seem like there’s a straightforward way to do that like there is in the app. Am I missing something here?

My suggestion would be to select the text and then go into writing tools and then use the compose button and ask it to refine what you have there.

Cool - that seems to work if you highlight it all, then it gives you the option to include the highlighted text in your query. Thanks!

It seems there is indeed an actual wait involved with the waitlist for Image Generation/Genmoji. I joined last night, went to sleep (it’s 8 am here now), and still haven’t received any notification.

I suppose they want to gradually allow people access to this feature, unlike 18.1 Apple Intelligence, which was released in a half hour or so.
Still waiting here myself. It's been about 24 hours now, I think.

Same. IDK how all the news places seem to have it. I guess you had to jump on it in the first few minutes? Unfortunately or me I was busy working.

In Mail, if you double finger drag down, you can go pretty fast, then delete.

I’ll search then multi-select this way and delete.
not sure i understand how to do this....does not seem to work for me, unless I am doing it wrong of course.

Using the new default apps menu. Replaced Mail with Proton Mail.
Seems to be working somewhat today. That’s a plus! Some places where you can trigger an initial email, either nothing happens or the option is greyed out. Switch back to Mail and it works.

On the other hand, changing Passwords & Codes to just Proton Pass does not seem to work. If I also include Passwords in the settings it works. Not sure if this is a Proton issue or Beta issue.

This is unfortunate I updated to 18.2 for image gen and still don’t have access

Maybe this will help…

Example - I open Mail and go to the Inbox. I’ll then filter for … Citi. I’ll place my right index&middle finger on the screen - horizontally, wait till the select button the left hand side appears, then drag down the screen as far as I want. If you hit the screen bottom it will continue to scroll. Then I click Trash.

Yes, that seems to work if in Primary, but not the other categories it appears.. thx for the suggestion though.
