So is the Apple Mail in 18.2 b1 bad enough that we should skip this beta and wait for b2?

The Mail app is cooked. Can’t delete the now overwhelming amount of Junk mail, the icons clutter the Inbox, the summaries are borderline useless - is Apple really going to nuke their clean cohesive ecosystem in order to chase the AI waterfall?

Is anyone else having Junk/Deleted folder issues?
Yes - Junk emails that can't be deleted and/or keep re-appearing. Have to use browser to delete on web. Gone back to Edison Mail for a while.

would be great if they'll come into 3rd party apps and seen by people who are on iOS<18.
I believe the ball’s really on third party devs’ court since text fields that supported rich text will work with Genmoji, so there’s “only” work to do on parsing those

My genmoji are showing up in WhatsApp. In the recents and stickers section.
you're right, i didnt have the stickers enabled in emoji keyboard settings. Now they are showing in 3rd party apps, but as STICKERS, not emojis. :( hope they'll "fix" it.

So I installed the gmail app and leave it open in the background. Now all my new emails are back in the inbox; the Gmail app is doing the correct sorting for my Mail app.
Just a little workaround until the bugs are fixed.
