Where’s the creativity??? You’ve all been waiting how long for long for this 😆😂

So far I’ve seen lots of old people, a dead person, a house, a cat, a dinosaur and someone drinking tea 🥱

Push the boat out. (Don’t send a boat) 🤣

I hear ya, lots of us still waiting….. I hope to get on before Halloween, have so many ideas waiting to be made.

Here’s some images I conjured up anyways.

So is the Apple Mail in 18.2 b1 bad enough that we should skip this beta and wait for b2?

I’ve not had any issues. All my mail is being delivered to the inbox and filtered into categories. My junk mail is still filtered to junk folder as always. Deleted mail is remaining deleted.

Not sure why I don’t have these issues but I’m not complaining. All good so far

I keep wondering if those emojis can be viewed by anyone regardless of their operating system or not
they can. because they are send as stickers in 3rd party apps, not emojis, unfortunately.

Why is everyone holding their phones with two hands?! AI is also assuming it’s normal to have huge bricks instead of mobile phones that can be easily handled with one hand? Damn, I think we’ve lost the battle.

UK account here too!!

Anyone from here with UK account and location got access to playgrounds/genmoji??

I wonder if they are only releasing for US accounts.

I got in 30 minutes after the update was released on my personal 16PM. On my work 16 I requested access the day after and still waiting.

Yes. Got access probably within the first 20 minutes of this beta being released.

That makes sense! So they are only genmojis among Apple users. Outside the Apple Messages bubble, they are genstickers.
There is an API for other apps, like Whatsapp, to have support for Genmoji. We just need to wait for them to update.
But even them, I believe that only Apple users will see them as emojis.

I’m in the uk and got access yesterday.
Did you install the beta on the same day it came out? I only installed on the next day. Maybe for now are only day one users.

Interesting… it would be really nice for third party messaging apps to implement such API and that it was compatible with Android as well.

I don’t know what it is about the dinosaurs personally. But here you go: a koala bear feeding crumbs to some pigeons. Notice the nice hybrid koala-pigeon to the left!

Don’t take my message too harshly, because I’m not ill intended but, am I the only one more interested in stability, performance, efficiency and bug fixes than all this Genmogi and Image Playground thing? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love iOS 18 and all the new features (not only the AI driven, which my M2 iPad Pro is capable of btw). But in my opinion, if there’s still a battery drain problem, which I don’t know, or most of the bugs are still there, I’m more interested in them polishing them up rather than stuffing features on a still immature system.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s not the first year this happens and usually iOS doesn’t become polished enough until, generally, the third major update which usually comes after the holidays, right at the beginning of the year.

Hopefully, they won’t stuff more major features into 18.3 and focus on polishing up the system overall, the glaring bugs still existing by then, and improving the efficiency to have better battery life. Fingers crossed.

Anyways, I’m about to finally install 18.1 (still on 17.6.1 on many devices) and see how it goes. I’m gonna pull the trigger.

Sorry to tell you but they will be adding stuff all the way to 18.4, when the Siri with personal context awareness will be released.
