Some additional tidbits:
- Mail Categories are OFF for now. Just a first glance, they didn’t really well work for me. I may mess with it later when I can spend some time re-categorizing items.
- Mail app is quick. I like the new icons and more compact layout.
- Image Playground is fine. Fairly quick but instructions have to be very specific
- so far no lagging or freezing across the OS

What is "loathing"?

Just noticing that Genmoji support is still downloading few hours after install. Image Playground was much faster.

I noticed that email isn’t getting thru on iOS 18.2 RC unless i go into the default mail app. No pushing, MS uses exchange server and all my email is from outlook.com.

Anyone else notice this?

Hard reset fixed it so far.

RCS stopped working for me right after the RC update completed. I had to restart my phone twice to get it working again. (Using Verizon)

Otherwise, no issues so far.

I really hoped 18.2 RC would fix my RCS issues but it does not. My conversations randomly and rapidly switch between SMS and RCS. It keeps spawning new group convos on android devices. It’s been absolute haywire for the last few months

Email still freezes momentarily for me. When you get a notification, you tap or slide and it’s supposed to take you to the message. Most of the time for me, it’ll go to the mailbox itself showing all messages and just freeze for about 7 seconds. Then you can tap on your message to read it. I don’t remember when this started, but it wasn’t happening in 18.0. Don’t remember if 18.1 had it or not.

Annoying.

i still have the rcs flickering thing and siri still keeps saying automations need to be set a minute out even though thats exactly what I'm trying to do like "turn the fan off in 10 minutes".

i'll probably getting around to do a fresh backup/wipe/restore sometime soon.
