iPhone 15 series got a minor modem update from 2.40.02 to 2.40.03, wiki updated.

Noticed that my AI data is 6.1GB from 3.22GB. A bit lower data use than others for some reason in Canada.

Also, Rogers carrier updated from 61.6.1 to 62.0, updated wiki.

If you are using standalone it will say just SA and there will be a toggle at the bottom of the voice and data screen.

Strange that’s something Vodafone uk got enable rather quickly but can’t seem to figure out RCS tho lol

The reason is simple: 5G SA can be marketed and brings money. RCS is only a cost, nobody really asks for it and doesn't even bring 1 cent of revenue. Source: I work for a mobile operator.

Is the Apple Mail app mail downloading/syncing issue any better in 18.3 beta 2
What is the downloading/syncing issue? I keep seeing people speak of this but suspect people are referring to Gmail not pushing, which is unfortunately by design from google with the iPhone mail app

It appears to be downloading/syncing email changes a little quicker.

Before this beta it would take forever to “download” new emails into the app. It also seemed to want to download only once you opened the app, not when it checked based on the fetch time schedule. It would also take forever or if at all sync deleted emails and other changes with other iOS devices. You could delete an email on one device and then later it would still be there on another device.

This is having gmail account in the native mail app. Overall, the whole OS seems a little more polished and quicker.

Just finished updating 15PM OTA. No updating issues.
Tried updating AWU. Says has to be on charger and >50% battery. Waiting on %.
Updating iPad Pro 11 OTA …..

If you use Yahoo Mail IMAP or any email provided by Yahoo (possibly other IMAP Mail servers), Mail won’t download in the background unless the phone is charging. Apple support has acknowledged the issue, but it doesn’t appear to be a priority as they haven’t fixed it yet.

It’s not Gmail in the Apple Mail app — that is fine actually (I have a few accounts setup). My issue is iCloud Mail connecting via IMAP. I have it setup on 4 devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Mac Studio) and it’s all over the show since 18.2 and worse since 18.2.1…items downloaded on one device doesn’t show on another, items deleted or moved don’t show on the other either. Sometimes one device is up-to-date, sometimes not. It never used to be like this until 18.2. I’m wondering if it’s a combination of server-side and client-side issue.

Carrier updates for the Philippines
• Globe: 62.0
• SMART: 62.0

Wiki updated.

Battery was great on B1. Install was fast and smooth via IPSW. Phone was warm while indexing.

Feels really smooth.

Photos UI though a bit glitchy on load, the Utilities option panel is slow/noticeable to load.

Still can’t recreate my dog in image playground. She is a white staffy with a black patch over one eye. I always get a generic dog with a patch over both eyes.

Custom stickers are still borked for me. Have to at least try two times to insert it/them, but then I can’t drag it in. The background message starts to scroll instead and then it all errors out closing the sticker functionality.
