iOS 18.4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

If I have notifications style set to "Count", the count of my notifications is listed on my Lock Screen as expected, however, if there's music playing, every time I tap my phone, all my notifications appear, and as soon as I lock my screen again, they go back to count. If music is not playing, it's normal and they stay hidden. How do I keep them hidden until I want to actually see them?

More like a bug, have noticed this since the RC2.
 
iOS 18.4 fixed 2 bugs I had:

1. iCloud tabs now sync.
2. Screen Time no longer shows devices that I’ve long since removed from my iCloud account. I had an old iPhone and iPad showing up and now they are no longer there. The iPhone was removed from my account about 18 months ago.
 
StandBy seems to have broken for me while on a FaceTime call. Doesn't auto-trigger while already on a call and the phone is placed on a charger/turned sideways. Only way to fix is to trigger it before hopping on a call -- that way works fine.
 
I'm confused why I get this popup when I try to update. On 18.3.2. IMG_0225.jpeg

Update: Managed to install the update. It feels noticeably smoother on my 16 Pro. Disappointing that the gradual performance drop after a reboot is so noticeable.

When I installed the 18.4 RC, I also noticed that my old iPhone was finally removed from Screen Time. Unfortunately, my old MacBook still appears.
 
Today I noticed that the option to play sound on my Airtags is missing. Moreover, I cannot enable left behind notification (it says that it is unsupported). I'm not sure if it is iOS 18.4 thing, but my wife's iPhone is still on 18.3 and those options still exist on her phone... does anyone else have a similar problem?

Genmoji doesn't believe me when I select a person. It keeps telling me to choose another expression. I used to be able to create a dancing person, but now it tells me nothing. Even if I type in a zebra, it tells me it's a person, not an animal. The little bit there is, and it's all wrong 🤣
 
I’ve just now noticed something new to me.
My phone is in English for everything and before this update only notifications in English were summarized.
Now those in French are too 👍🏻.
