Yea, WWDC is getting to be more like a 'Coming up this year in iOS 18' (like a trailer for a TV show, showing hints as to what's coming in the new season) so things are part of iOS 18, but not necessarily iOS 18.0. I get it, as WWDC is more about giving Devs insight into what's coming, so they can plan & dev accordingly as well as consumers getting a taste of what's coming too.

And everyone may recall that is by design. Apple was getting too jammed up trying to get features done for the big rollout in September and couldn’t get it done. So then they started rolling out more features later in the year. Typically in the X.2 updates in November

A couple of things:

The new Passwords app

You can choose between smaller and larger icons on the home page. The larger icons remove the app name/label.

Definitely go through your Settings.
I am finding many of the Settings have changed. The fact that Messages being forwarded stopped working is what made me check.

BTW, all Messages, Mail and other notifications that go to my AW have stopped. AW is NOT on beta.

btw - spell check still sucks.

No issues here. 15PM and Ultra 2, phone on beta watch not. Notifications, messages etc going to AW as expected.

Those dark theme icons do not look appealing. I was looking forward to darker versions to complement the darker wallpapers, not inverse versions of existing icons with black backgrounds.

Are there any changes in the Passwords app that weren't already present in the Settings app in iOS 17?

I just wish we had macOS icons with some depth not this colour changing stuff it would look so clean having depth and not this flat design
That's only for native apps, and they're not that much different, they're less of a cosmetic effect than the dark mode/tinting options we have. Basically, you're not likely to get it, so sadly, you'll have to move on.
