Removing icon labels is good as gives a cleaner look.Apart from making the icons dark, I like the new "large" mode which expands them slightly and removes the text underneath the icons.
Worth updating just for that!

Yea, WWDC is getting to be more like a 'Coming up this year in iOS 18' (like a trailer for a TV show, showing hints as to what's coming in the new season) so things are part of iOS 18, but not necessarily iOS 18.0. I get it, as WWDC is more about giving Devs insight into what's coming, so they can plan & dev accordingly as well as consumers getting a taste of what's coming too.
Could anyone please check the following apps working:
Tesla
Insta
Outlook
Slack
And Carplay
Yes it isIs Safari…..
You know
Makes it look like a Jitterbug Phone or something. Great for those with poor eyesight though.Apart from making the icons dark, I like the new "large" mode which expands them slightly and removes the text underneath the icons.
I’m not seeing any HomePod betas available for HomePod mini’s…You never could update HomePod (1st gen) with Beta updates. Only HomePod mini and HomePod (2nd gen)
Definitely go through your settings.
I am finding many of the Settings have changed. The fact that Messages being forwarded stopped working is what made me check.
BTW, all Messages, Mail and other notifications that go to my AW have stopped. AW is NOT on beta.
No issues here. 15PM and Ultra 2, phone on beta watch not. Notifications, messages etc going to AW as expected.Definitely go through your Settings.

btw - spell check still sucks.
Those dark theme icons do not look appealing. I was looking forward to darker versions to complement the darker wallpapers, not inverse versions of existing icons with black backgrounds.A couple of things:
The new Passwords app

You can choose between smaller and larger icons on the home page. The larger icons remove the app name/label.

Oh the "Today" screen, or whatever it's called, pre-iOS 14 widgets are no longer available.
That's a bugger as I was still using one: Logitech Harmony.
LOL. Clearly you aren't paying attention. AI is a Fall release.…. If AI isn’t available in the first public beta, there will be unhappy campers
The Widget for Siri Suggested apps looks weird when that's enabledApart from making the icons dark, I like the new "large" mode which expands them slightly and removes the text underneath the icons.

I don't believe there was an IOS18 released---yet. I'm looking forward to my Homepod minis and better AI.I’m not seeing any HomePod betas available for HomePod mini’s…
They said later in the summer. So likely with DB3/4.LOL. Clearly you aren't paying attention. AI is a Fall release.
I agree - not sure I like the icons on steroids.Bummer it only works on the large icons. I want a smaller icon option!
That's only for native apps, and they're not that much different, they're less of a cosmetic effect than the dark mode/tinting options we have. Basically, you're not likely to get it, so sadly, you'll have to move on.I just wish we had macOS icons with some depth not this colour changing stuff it would look so clean having depth and not this flat design
