15 ProMax - ipsw - Apple Store has dark icon - crashes on launch - doesn’t ask for location permission.

This is … oddly cool ;)

I can reproduce it: it happens when you have text prediction active. Try typing something until you see these greyish / faint letters suggesting what the word or partial sentence could be (where you‘re supposed to tap space to insert the prediction).
When you see that, press backspace to remove the last character you wrote and see how the complete prediction is suddenly actual text instead of vanishing.

Me too. I've been using translate quite a bit recently, and occasionally Apple's servers have died. At least I assume that's the issue, as asking Siri to translate, or using the app, stops working.

Of course, every other method such as Google Translate or DeepL work 24x7 as expected.

Apple's status pages show nothing, which is no surprise as they only change a status to red once someone at Apple sees a front-page article on Macrumors ....

Edit to update: still no emoji keyboard but oddly enough when tapping the emoji icon or tapping on emoji in the keyboards pop up window to bring up that keyboard all text that I typed in that had an emoji equivalent or option is highlighted. Tapping on the highlighted word did add the emoji for that word.

As soon as I OTA upgraded from B2 to B3 yesterday no emoji keyboard on my 15PM. iPad is happy as a clam and showing the under B3
 
My volume buttons are not working to adjust ringer volume.
My volume control in Control Center is frozen and non responsive.
Both work to control volume when sound is already playing.

Reboot doesn’t help

What did Apple do on B3?? B1 and B2 pretty stable, no big issues. B3 comes out and stuff breaks everywhere.
 
Has anyone successfully used RCS to text an android person on a carrier DIFFERENT than you own? I have T-Mobile and, when RCS is actually working, I can RCS Text droid people that are on T-Mobile and it most works ok. But I have other Samsunginites who are on ATT or Verizon (both of which support RCS on iPhone), but they always show up as SMS. Only T-Mobile to T-Mobile shows up as RCS on my phone.

I‘ve been texting people via RCS all day. I am on Telekom.de and all of my contacts I‘ve been texting are on other carriers like Vodafone.de, o2.de, Google Messages / Jibe, Samsung Messages and even foreign carriers I know nothing about. No issues at all.

Downloaded beta three on my iPhone 15 Pro Max now I can’t get any Internet, Wi-Fi or cellular.
Has anyone experienced so far? I reset network settings restarted the phone still no Internet my signal is good and I can get on with my PC and iPads.

I think its time to reinstall this, using the IPSW file from the developer portal.

Apple Store has it for me. MS apps don’t, neither does HSBC and some others.

Does Translate app standalone works for you?

This case you have showed works for me on iPhone 11Pro but before that to have Translate App working I had to remove and redownload all the needed languages from Settings > Translate (inside app nothing was visible).

Weird.

IPSW install.

I would say it crashes once every 5 opens for me.

For me, no, everything to do with translate stops working for a while.

I don't download the languages as I want the translation to be done live; I appear to get better results. However, if it stays flaky then I'll download the two I need (Deutsch and 中文).

My test iPhone is on T-Mobile. I've tested RCS with Verizon, T-Mobile, and a Canadian carrier. No issues. The Other side does not show the conversation as encrypted.

You can't directly add a 1x1 icon; you have to add a 2x1 icon and shrink it.

I noticed this yesterday--it's great! I wish there was a way to sync control center designs across devices or a quicker way to add multiple home widgets there. It took me a minute to get my phone set up the way I wanted and I don't want to redo it on my ipad haha.
