One thing that Ive learned for using iPhone camera is that it hates clouds, blue sky is fine but add a few clouds there and you got a mess to deal with. And even if you edit that cloudy sky photo you just shot it makes the clouds look really artificial and non-authentic. But everything else turns out usually great, if you just dont point your iPhone to the clouds.
You are so right. Even in RAW they are pretty much a mess at times.
The other big complaint is low light shots. They tend to bleed to orange/yellow.
Here are two indoor shots taken just now. On the right is stock 15PM. On the left is stock from another device. The one on the left is how it looks and how it looked on the 15PM display pre-shot.
Very disappointed in the 15PM and the 18 betas are making it worse IMO.
UPDATE - after posting the site swapped the pics. The light grey one is how it really looks.
