Updated iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro M1 to the current Public Beta. Both are showing an error, "Some iCloud Data Isn't Syncing". When I enter my password, it gives me a 'Verification Failed' message.

Any thoughts?

Hard restart?

Well, I have to say that whenever I’ve experienced keyboard lag on an old device, it was troublesome because the keyboard is a core functionality on a smartphone for me, as it allows me to communicate by text. I’m not sure how would it impact me now that I swipe on the keyboard to write.
100%. I sure hope that something is done about this in beta 4. If not, I don’t have high hopes that the full release will be any better.

I just got a weird one, was typing something and was startled by my phone as out of nowhere the keyboard clicks turned on by themselves so loud I thought it was gonna wake the dead. Hope that’s fixed before September.

Just recently jumped on the beta train and have been pretty impressed- very fluid! I am having an issue where I won't get iMessage notifications, though, so that is annoying.

I understand why Apple did it, but I really don’t like that Settings now just pushes all app settings to a separate page and in an alphabetical order. I pretty much never use the Settings app to change third party app settings, but very frequently change settings for Apple’s own apps. Now they’re one more tap away and harder to find.

I don’t know if this is new in iOS 18 or not but if you are in a group with both iOS and Android you can edit a text and it’ll update at least iOS side of things.

Yep, confirmed in a group chat with iOS and Android users.

One thing I noticed was that when the Android user reacted to the original message, I got a “_____ reacted to ____” text instead of the expected RCS reaction to the message. Might be a bug right now though.

Happens to me too for certain contacts. It's weird that it doesn't do it for all of them but a good majority of them. Hope Beta 4 fixes this.

Are you able to add/remove people in the chat? This couldn't be done in the past and it was a pain making a new one if you forgot someone or wanted to leave the group chat.

Anyone having issues where the badge count for an app won’t go away? My phone app has a badge count showing yet there’s no missed calls or unread voicemails. Any idea on how to fix?
I have a folder in App Library showing 121 unread notifications but none of the apps show any individually

Yeah, it’s strange.

Aside from that, pretty solid beta experience on my end!

I spent the afternoon in a very remote place with no cell service. Unlike during beta 1 I could not get a message to send via satellite. Is that now turned off?

Oh dear, and I have had the random loud volume bug before as well. I think that’s been going since iOS 17 as well.

Is auto-brightness "broken" in beta 3? If i turn it off then back on, it will bring my brightness quite high (almost middle ish) and if i manually set brightness to lowest level, it will just stick there. If again i manually toggle off/on, back to very bright (even if I do that in the dark)

Not sure if it's been posted I'm not looking through 28 pages but I can't tap notifications to open them from the lock screen or notification slider/drawer.

Honestly, I think it will be addressed during the beta. There’s still two months to finish the end product. What device are you using?

Another bug:

When viewing a Hide My Email entry and trying to enter a note it sometimes doesn't save. It took me a few tries. Also when editing the note to add info there is no option to save it ("Done" button). Afterwards trying to press Back to go to the main Hide My Email page the button doesn't work. I have to close Settings app and go back into the Hide My Email section.

I get that too. I’m guessing they’re not using RCS.
