Can’t find this in these threads…in Apple Music, when adding a song to a playlist, you no longer need to try and add before finding out that the song is already in there.

Also, does anyone know if the new RCS feature allows one to have more than twenty people in a text group where you mix Apple and Android users??

My photos are all out of focus when taken with a default camera (rear, 48mp proraw). Photos arent looking out of focus in the Camera app preview, but in the gallery theyre all out of focus. Beta 3 didnt have this issue but Beta 3+ does.

ProShot app doesnt have this issue.

Actually now that I took a photo with a default camera app I confirm your bug, I also get the "i" in the photo stating that loading higher quality picture has failed.

I just noticed that I am only able to add a copy of an App Icon to a Home Screen from the AppLibrary. If I add it from Spotlight or the AppLibrary LIST, it removes the app from another screen instead of adding another one.

I just created a new Home Screen to be used for Work and suddenly noticed that the App icons have suddenly disappeared from my private Home Screen.

Did I miss the way to adjust the order of Notification Center pages? Music, or Now Playing, is second. I'd prefer it to be last.

It's possible but I think it requires creating new page with just one widget, then moving the Now Playing full page widget behind it. At least it worked on my 11Pro.
You can also create this Now playing page by yourself on last page by creating at first full row widget of this type on top of page, then resizing it to full page. For some dumb reason it could not be resized if in middle or bottom of page in my case. After that you can remove previous page. So at least 2 options available but both counter intuitive

However as you have mentioned switching pages - I checked and was also not able to move Communication Controls (Wifi, Bluetooth...) to last place.
Interesting finding must say - IMHO it should be called a bug as it was nowhere told that there is strict order of pages.
Ok it's doable but also requires some playing with correct movement and have to post a full page widget on top of page.

Ok so this isn't a beta issue or anything but something I noticed kinda cool using my MBA running Sequoia. I was typing out a Message to a couple of friends and needed a "hand wave" emoji and got all these. I searched for them on my phone in Messages but couldn't find them. So they all must come from fonts.

MacOS incorporates other characters too from fonts which I think is kinda cool! I just thought I'd share here.

This can be deleted if Mods want.

Which Carplay issues? My 15 PM has always been spotty in my Rav4 Hybrid but works perfectly in my wife's CRV...I wonder if it's a "OEM" issue or Apple issue or both? What car do you have?

I’ve seen them incorrect frequently, but a stuck alert … not recently. In the past I did a swap to Airplane Mode and do a hard reboot.

Yeah, I’ve done a hard reboot, reset network settings, had both FirstNet and T-Mobile reset my voicemail inbox to no avail. I’m tempted to sign out of iCloud and sign back in, and if that doesn’t work I ,I gut have to reset all settings being the nuclear option. Just can’t pinpoint if it’s a beta issue or a carrier issue.

Not real happy with the current beta. Touchscreen isn't working good. I have to tap on a button several times. Swiping is difficult. It's buggy that way.

How is that keyboard?

It has worked well for me. When iOS has an update, it may have a bug but Google quickly corrects it.
It is my go-to kb for all my devices except the V2 (foldable).

Well, I have to say that whenever I’ve experienced keyboard lag on an old device, it was troublesome because the keyboard is a core functionality on a smartphone for me, as it allows me to communicate by text. I’m not sure how would it impact me now that I swipe on the keyboard to write.

I have a question for all of you using the beta on an iPhone SE3, or even on an iPhone 13 (same device after all). How does it behave? I’m really interested in iOS 18 just for the reminders integration on calendar, but I’m not sure how will my iPhone SE 3 handle it.

Having an issue whereby when I disabled iCloud for messages and then enable, it would sync as normal but then after finishing, most of my sms and iMessages would be left inside the "show recently deleted " folder and some of my main message threads would be 99% empty containing one message line. So I would restore those within messages app, but then iCloud would delete them again on next sync putting my messages in the deleted folder.
Also whilst restoring messages from iCloud, if I clicked a thread it would disappear completely from my messages list. Currently iCloud still shows 25GB of storage used for messages. Under iCloud+ messages I unchecked "Use on this iPhone" but have not "disabled and delete" messages. Top conversations shows 17GB and storage shows 25GB. Unsure where the difference has gone? Cheers. Difficult to say if this is a beta fault or not.

Second time today my AirPods Pro 2, will suddenly decide that one of them are not in ear and kills Noise Cancellation.
Happened first on the 15PM, then the iPad Pro. Only way to fix was to Forget on the device then relink.

APP2 are not on beta.

I've had this but usually clears up if I go back in to email for instance. And this is Gmail so 3rd party.

iOS beta 3 on my 15 plus and PM with no problems to report. Battery life on my 15 plus is about the same as 17.5.1 was however, iOS 18 seems far more fluid and everything is far more snappy—the camera opens instantly, no more keyboard lag, CarPlay works fine in my RAV4 hybrid, all apps work great with the exception of occasional quirks in Amazon shopping. I will give an update a bit later..

I’m not understanding why springboard constantly crashes. Using Safari and the Camera app when I take a picture tends to make it crash. Damn near all the time. I have tried clearing data and history and still get the same thing. Submitted the bugs to Apple. Am not a developer, but have submitted lots of bug reports whenever I see strange activity that I haven’t seen before. Hopefully they can address this in Beta 4.
