Wow, that’s even more random.
I’d get it if it was there same app not being dark mode for all, but it being this inconsistent, I don’t get.
Yep, once you customise it to make it your own and to how you use it, it’s a very nice update to the app.
Too many stubborn people out there that won’t explore before ranting and complaining.
You know how there’s a little wallpaper brightness toggle icon when you customize the Home Screen that lets you dim the wallpaper?
Well, I thought that when you chose Automatic icon colors it would keep the Home Screen icons light and wallpaper bright during the day and switch the homescreen icons to dark mode and also dim the wallpaper at night.
But it seems like the wallpaper is not dimming automatically at night, only the icons are switching to dark mode.
Is this a bug or expected behavior?

Yes, I think that little sun icon is half-baked and hopefully will get the same modes (dark/light/auto) as we have for the icons by the time iOS 18 is released.
I hope they don’t change it so that in dark mode it’s always dimmed. I like the dark icons with my standard lighter background. I don’t use the auto and use dark mode and dark icons all the time.
The only Telegram icon that turns dark for me automatically is this one, called “Simple” or “Plain” in French. You can choose it in Telegram’s own settings, under Appearance.

I like the new features ok. But not the layout. I liked the layout better before. Most of the sections I don't use. Like Recent Days and pinned collections. They've tried to add too much, IMO.

Swipe the Photos screen frim left to right and customise it.
Once you customize the photos app and hide all the stuff you don’t want to see, it’s actually quite good. I have it setup very minimal now and hid all the other stuff that I’ve just ignored in the past. Now it’s fully customized for me.
Shortcut app action to take a screenshot seems to be broken - animation is there but nothing is saved
Example:
2x loop with waiting 30 seconds between taking screenshot and vibration in the end.
But single “take screenshot” is not working. Carp, this makes my debugging way harder :/

Why use a shortcut to take a screenshot when you can use the buttons combo or program a 2 or 3 iPhone back-taps to do it (via Settings > Accessibility > Touch)?
Wanted to do it automatically each few seconds without need to remember. Sometimes it’s better than screen recording to keep steps saved
