when will we look for 18.0.1

so far things seem smooth, but I know people will start complaining before tonights up saying everything is wrong and we need 18.0.1
I added that cartoon, it reminds me of how many times we encounter something unusual the first time after an update, and then you try to reproduce it and dang it's gone. Another example is if you have to disable something and then reenable it and the problem is gone. ;)
 
Ipad loaded with iPadOS 18, iPhone iOS 18, Apple Watch preparing to install watchOS 11, Mac Studio loading Sonoma 15.0 still have the homepods and the Apple TV to go. Apple updates are fun, Windows updates are not.
 
Neither is 18.1 beta 4 🤪

I’m not so sure about that for tomorrow.

I know some have argued that the iPhone 16 situation retires beta 3. Why? Functionally there’s no difference between beta 3 and the hypothetical beta 4 insofar as the iPhone 16 goes. If they can update just-out-of-the box 16s to beta 3 during setup, they can do likewise for beta 4.

I’m speculating maybe they released the beta 3 for iPhone 16 to allow developers to get a head start on Xcode for coding 16 specific features on 18.1? Maybe
 
The iPhone is released every year on a Friday. Why would the X.0.1 release be any different this year than other years?
we'll see 15.0.1 came out a week after the release. 16.0.1 came 2 days later but I recall there being a serious bug. 17.0.1 came the friday the week of
