I’m on 18.1 as well…. Mine shows 18.0 beta options. I can’t remember if that’s normal or if it showed 18.1 in there before….

They don’t differentiate 18.0 and 18.1 betas there, so all will show as iOS 18.

Apple Seeds iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 Release Candidates to Developers and Public Beta Testers
Apple today seeded the release candidate versions of iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 to developers and public beta testers for testing purposes, with the...www.macrumors.com
probably too early for a RC of 8.1, 6.1 had a beta 4
I surely hope so…I bet beta 4 is today
I can guarantee that beta 4 will definitely be released on a day that ends in “y”..that’s some real insider information right there…I bet beta 4 is today
Just about everyone wants beta 4. 😁I surely hope so…
I hear you man, lots of randon lags at random times on B3 so I sure hope B4 gets released today to address this issue.Dying for beta 4. I still have the swipe up from bottom lag that persists since beta 3 and it’s driving me mad.
I am not sure why you would say that. The iPhone 16's are coming with 18.0 and for those of us on the beta we will have to update our new iPhone anyway. I don't think that is a determining factor.Guys, I said it before… no beta until next week. They released beta 3 for iPhone 16 models on Friday. They’re not going to do that only to release beta 4 right before the iPhone 16 is released.
Thats right18.1 shouldn’t be considered analogous to any other X.1 release. We’ll possibly have 6-8 betas.
But why would they release 18.1 for iPhone 16 if no one is going to download it? The other scenario is they release beta 4 for every other device, and iPhone 16 is behind one beta until next week. Apple wouldn’t do that.I am not sure why you would say that. The iPhone 16's are coming with 18.0 and for those of us on the beta we will have to update our new iPhone anyway. Iphone 16 samples before availability to dev for coding/early reviewers, internal Apple employees. Possible update version order required for 18.1 betas to successfully install for iPhone 16 users, after all the initial factory system is not yesterdays Sept 16 18.0 seeding to the public is some earlier build chosen. But why would they release 18.1 for iPhone 16 if no one is going to download it? So no one that gets a iPhone 16 can download the iOS 18.1 beta? I better cancel my iPhone 16 then. LOLBut why would they release 18.1 for iPhone 16 if no one is going to download it? No, that’s not what I’m saying. If they released a version beta 3 for iPhone 16, and you think they’re going to release beta 4 today, then they would’ve released beta 3 for nothing because the phone isn’t even out yet. So my point is Apple released beta 3 for the iPhone 16 with the intention that it would be the most current beta when the iPhone 16 is in stores. So no one that gets a iPhone 16 can download the iOS 18.1 beta? None of those devices are paired with AI implementation of 18.1/15.1 (iOS/iPadOS/MacOS)i realized we have not gotten any .1 betas of watchOS, tvOS, homepodOS either.. maybe with beta 4?
I just feel like they would’ve released beta 4 last week if that were the plan. I mean they were on a 2 week cycle, so if they intended on releasing beta 4 before the 16 release, they would’ve just released that last week to give developers extra time to test on that beta.Iphone 16 samples before availability to dev for coding/early reviewers, internal Apple employees. I assume there are already a few in the wild… special testers, creators…No, that’s not what I’m saying. More than likely it was so reviewers could see Apple Intelligence in action on their iPhone 16 review units.
That’s the one I forgot. Yeah that makes sense. Here’s to maybe a beta 4 in the next half hourThats certainly possible, also add the possibility its for reviewers that got their iPhone 16's before consumers.
If I had to guess, the beta they dropped for iPhone 16 last week will be beta 4 this week for us and then everything will be back in sync. But why would they release 18.1 for iPhone 16 if no one is going to download it?
