They have been testing it for a few days according to 9to5Mac. Not unlikely it’s coming today but yeah, I think it’s more likely it’ll be released Monday or Tuesday.

This is one of those that would not fit the usual mold: One, it is not a beta. Secondly, it is what I would deem to be a fairly urgent fix. Those are more likely to appear on a Friday than your run-of-the-mill beta release.

Apple doesn't preannounce using twitter is the first clue. Just a creative chap mentioning two rather less important issues. It just might come today as others have said.
