Seems like they don’t care about bad battery and overall performance on 15 PM and seems like 16 series too…

For you. Battery was solid on my 14Pro and is solid so far on 16Pro.

I’d be looking closer to home at apps and your battery behaviour with your phone to see if that’s hammering your battery.

i would say an update today or monday although next monday we are expecting beta 6 of iOS 18.1
cant see them releasing 18.0.1 on the same day so today or next tuesday then

I think today is likely to be the day, and it would be great because I have a lot of devices pending to be updated… and this weekend could be a good time to do it.

No way will Apple wait until 18.1 — there will be an update to address the M4 iPad Pro upgrade issue. Today, maybe?

they won't wait because 18.1 is coming October 21st which makes it perfectly fine to release 18.0.1 tuesday October 1st

Probably more like Monday 18.0.1 (if not today). Then 18.1 dev b6 public beta, both on Tuesday. Though if 18.0.1 comes today, that could pull b6 up to Monday.
