No new Black History Month wallpapers or other assets. Seems unusual. Could this mean a new build for final release?
Perhaps Apple is finally setting up an alternative method of distributing wallpapers related to black history and other upcoming events during the year? There are many times the wallpapers choices compared to iPadOS and MacOS seem quite limited with iOS? Of course could be just a minor point release a few days later too. :)

I don‘t think we get 18.4 this soon. Isn‘t it scheduled for April with Apple Intelligence for EU?

We are only 9 days now from February 1st. If 18.4 goes 8 betas as it is rumored, with at least two weeks between the first several betas, that will be plenty of time, even for a mid-April debut.

I’m thinking of this as almost a parallel to the 18.0 beta period.

I agree, this will be a tentpole release, therefore an accelerated beta cycle makes sense. I think a beta this week is not out of the question...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we get the iOS 18.3 release to the public this week, maybe even Friday. I agree that 18.4 will need broader testing for what it's bringing to places outside the US, but I don't think they'll release 18.4b1 before they actually have 18.3 out the door.

I think it’ll need broader testing for what it’s bringing to everyone. We’re talking about a possible fundamental change in how people use these devices. I’ll be fascinated how Apple introduces even the beta process. If it’s along the lines of what they demonstrated at WWDC Apple should not be forcing us to guess how to use it.

Even playing back some of the WWDC videos a typical user would be overwhelmed on how the feature sets are becoming too complex. Of course a large subset of user community just ignores everything else but just using a iPhone for its primary purposes no matter how much marketing Apple does at WWDC. Conversational Siri is the next big breakthrough for consumers.
