Public 18.3 (with an updated build) today, and 18.4 beta not for a few days maybe a couple of weeks. If the rumors are true and 18.4 is coming in April, I doubt we'll have it in beta for over 2 months.

A beta release for 18.4 this month is very plausible. Most beta cycles, especially for updates as big as 18.4 is purported to be, span a couple months. 18.4 is expected to be a full 8-beta cycle, which means if they release the first beta this month, the final release would land in April.
If 18.3 is released today, we’re definitely getting 18.4 beta this week.

They tend to do it later in the day, then simply normal seeding at approximately 10am PST. Cupertino time.
Apple has announced other things earlier in the day and then released a new iOS version the same day without directly mentioning they would release it in the earlier announcement. I can only think of one time where Apple confirmed they would release an iOS version later that day. So I think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect an 18.3 release today. We already got the RC version last week, so this week the public release should drop. With how little 18.3 changes, I highly doubt they need a second RC, or to drag their feet on getting it out to the public at this point…
I don’t see how they announce the Unity bands today (and available for sale) without release the update soon after. Tomorrow at the latest but only if there’s an issue.
Yeah, but if products in that announcement requires 18.3, I think they would’ve said “in an update coming later today” instead of “upcoming update”, if it was actually being released today. I hope it’s coming today, but I don’t want everyone here to become depressed if it’s not lol
We’ll see, but as I said before, Apple doesn’t usually make “in an update coming later today” kind of announcements. I’m guessing different teams are responsible for those announcements for one, and also, I’m guessing they wouldn’t want to promise an update for later in the day with the possibility of a last-second issue. That’s just the way Apple is. They rarely ever confirm if an iOS update is coming later in the day, as I mentioned before, I only ever recall them doing that once.
And that’s the one rare occasion they have ever done so that I recall… As I said, Apple doesn’t usually confirm if an update is coming later in the day. The only time they did so was in context of hyping up Apple Intelligence, and as 18.3 makes no improvements or new features for Apple Intelligence, they likely wouldn’t confirm it’s coming later that day… Apple just doesn’t usually role that way. 18.2 was the exception, not the rule. Perhaps they won’t drop 18.3 today, but I see no reason to drag their feet on releasing 18.3. We already got the RC last week. They will be shipping watch bands without the update that goes with them? I don’t think so. Everything points to a likely release today, and probably at the VERY LATEST tomorrow…
