There is the rare 4:00 PM beta drop, it could be possible considering they announced new hardware earlier today. We’ll see in around an hour, but I’m not very hopeful anymore for today. Maybe tomorrow. I just wish they would drop this beta already, it’s been such a long wait, and I’m getting tired of getting my hopes up just to get nothing…
The first beta should be coming sometime soon. The public version will release early April. So hopefully we should be getting the first beta soon, possibly today, but more likely tomorrow.
Yes, though the last 4 or 5 x.4 betas have dropped on a Thursday, so there’s a good chance for tomorrow. 👍🏻
Reportedly Apple has said that Visual Intelligence is coming to iPhone 15 Pro in ...some version of iOS 18, as revealed earlier with the 16E. Could this be why we haven't seen 18.4?
Whoa, that’s the best rumor I’ve heard in a while. Worth waiting for, that’s for sure. How trustworthy is this leaker?

It's been release day for the past 17 days lol. A week after RC was released. I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath..... At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they just pushed it to next week and just let the 16E have the whole spotlight to itself this week.

Apple representatives also told me today that owners of the iPhone 15 Pro will soon be able to bind their Action Button to visual intelligence, “in a future software update”. I suspect that future software update is iOS 18.4, which should be launching in beta any day now, but Apple wouldn’t comment, on or off the record, when exactly this feature will come to the iPhone 15 Pro. They also confirmed that the Control Center button to launch visual intelligence is also coming to iPhone 15 Pro (and presumably iPhone 16 models, too).

The more interesting part is "have nothing new." Could this be another 18.3 nothing burger with everything interesting pushed to 18.5?
Looks like it could be the case. Wouldn't surprise me if they took the juicy branch with all the new features on it and merged it into 18.5 and left 18.4 looking pretty slim
He was just wrong twice recently, so he’s probably got this wrong as well. And 18.4 should definitely be adding some new things. Apple just said yesterday that more Apple Intelligence features will be coming in April. So 18.4 will almost certainly not be an 18.3 nothing burger.
Nothing new for American users maybe, but for EU ones it’ll be something else…
