No. Everyone gets iOS 18.0 in September, followed by everyone getting 18.1 whenever that releases.
Non-AI devices will probably get 18.1 Betas after 18.0 Beta cycle is finished in early September.
People said the same back during iOS 13, when Apple suddenly started seeding 13.1b1 in mid-August. Everyone thought they scrap 13.0 and go for 13.1 right away, with 13.0 only being preloaded on the new upcoming devices so they could ship them before any sanctions hit. The only thing correct about that was that 13.0b8 ended up being the buggy RC, with 13.1 coming out a few weeks after the global 13.0 launch.
Like I said a week ago, we might get iOS 19 beta 1 today.
Could there be a more stable 18.1 beta 2 (on par with 18.0 beta 4 second release) in 70 minutes from now?
Be nice if 18.0 beta 5 and 18.1 beta 2 seeded today. 17.6 has wrapped up so more emphasis on involving PB testers with 18.0 beta seeds with slightly more then a month to go to iPhone 16 launch rumored to be Sept 10th.

As we continue like this every week, we will have to make a baton, to see who gets closer to the launch of the betas.
