We have zero history to back up anything related to AI. Have we ever had a prolonged period with two distinct betas running. Nope.

Uncharted waters.
Hahaha ok. Thats far fetch and wishing thinking for you. Mark my words, Genmoji and Image Playground aren't coming to 18.1.

In all likelihood you are correct. But I also would not be “fall of my chair” shocked if it did. But it will come by 18.2 (or whatever is the last version released in 2024). Perfect selling point for kids and young adults for the Christmas buying season.

Back in the Olden Days™, the standard release windows were 10 AM and 1 PM Pacific; the latter has mostly gone away, and the former has drifted to the right to generally be closer to 10:15 ± 1-2 minutes.

That said, Apple can and will push a build whenever it darned well pleases, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Won't disagree with that. They may very well push dark for that stuff in 2024.

Today is probably just maintenance releases for current software (getting watchOS and tvOS caught up on the .1 versions everything else got a couple of weeks ago), with new betas tomorrow.

...until they read all these posts and decide to spite us all and push the new betas 2 minutes after I post this, in which case I claim to be correct regardless.
