Hi My big question did it fix the missing photos in text threads? PLEASE PLEASE tell me its fixed so all my photos will be back under the phots tab! They are in the thread but as we know they did not import over on 26 . No one can scroll thru days , weeks , moths or years of texts to find a phot you sent someone!

I notice “Voice over 5G Standalone” is now greyed out.. I know it’s not active on Verizon’s network yet, but it’s an interesting change from 26.0.1.

I have AT&T model. But I got the iPad M5 pro and 5G Standalone is not active yet on there net work either all so your e sim may not be compatible e sim for 5G Standalone

Interesting. I have an Air and there’s def a stutter when swiping from widget screen to Home Screen.
I have an Air and def no stutter. My guess would be either the wallpaper, a particular widget or clear/tinted icons (if you're using it) is causing the stutter.

I am using the dynamic bubbles wallpaper (both lock and home screens), 8 widgets and dark icons with dark wallpaper on the Home Screen.

It’s compatible.. it’s just not enabled by Verizon yet. So they probably told Apple to grey it out or it’s automatically done from the carrier version.

Widget page stutters when swiping got much worse when public release which was barely visible on my 13P with RC.

New stutters when scrolling down in App Library now. Wasn’t there before.

Some outstanding QC, Apple!

So you are saying if I turn off automatic updates and reboot there is a chance it may dump some of the AI data?
In my case turning off automatic updates freed up the 12 gigs it held reserved for future updates. I can’t speak too much to the additional AI storage because I thankfully removed what it originally stored away when I first got this phone.

For dumping AI data it seems to be all or nothing. I chose nothing. 12 gigs of AI data is ridiculous. I actually went down from 512 to 256 storage this time around because I figured I could keep it to what I really need. I don’t need Apple messing with my plans. :)

I see those stutters too but safari is no longer stuttering when scrolls slow down which is nice and my 17 pro isn’t randomly heating up anymore for no reason. I bet if I still had my 14 pro it would be fixed too. My ocd can handle a few stutters here and there swiping around but it can’t handle those random heat ups! So glad it’s been running ice cold since I updated a few hours ago. This is a great sign! Loving the tinted option. Brings it closer to the “classic” iOS 18 and below look!

Also that toggle to turn off the camera swipe on the Home Screen is awesome. I can’t tell you how many times I accidentally would turn my camera on and it’s a huge ram hog (even on the 17pro) and would close out multiple apps. They are cooking. By time we hit may or June iOS 26 will be complete/polished. Just like every other iOS release in history.

I’m using the default Apple iPhone air wallpaper and tinted icons and the stutter is there.

Gave it a try but nope still using 12.44GB for Apple Intelligence. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wouldn’t know as I didn’t have any folders on my Home Screen, just apps and web links. Although I have added folders with apps inside since, and they do not redraw.

If you do decide to reset your Home Screen layout, don’t forget to take screenshots of each Home Screen, so you don’t forget where to place each app.
I bit the bullet and reset the home screen. It tells you it will get rid of all folders, which it did🥵 But I was ready for it. Now I’ll be recreating dozens of folders filled with web links and apps. But it got rid of the redrawing issue that’s vexed me since 26 came out. This is one hell of a drastic solution, but I don’t think it will ever be fixed otherwise in 26. Maybe 27, but I couldn’t wait that long once I saw your post.

Anyone else having this issue with the Home Screen clock? I had it set to the small digits then after the update it was the long digit clock. I’ve restated the phone, changed the size and deleted and readded the wallpaper and it keeps changing back to the long digit clock.

This happened to me. I just slightly adjusted the size of the clock and that fixed things for me.

For me, this update did not fix anything, and, unfortunately, since my 17PM was on 26.0.1 with very few issues, it now has all the issues 26.1 betas brought to my iPad. Here’s hoping 26.2 comes quickly.

Wifi is still broken on my iPhone 17 Pro on iOS 26.1. Was really hoping this update was going to be the silver bullet that fixed it. Problem is when in environments with multiple wireless access points, the phone is not roaming to the closest access point. It will stick to whatever one it is connected to until the signal is too weak, then it will disconnect and use cellular. My 15 Pro Max will roam perfectly and seamlessly from one AP to another without any of these issues.

Apple Intelligence is disabled on my 16PM. It has been from the start. Anyway, I believe because of this, my instal of 26.1 was only 326GB. Nice. 😁

I'll try AI again when they finally sort it out, or Apple give up and use a 3rd party application.

Same here. I just adjusted the size of the clock (same size of default) and it is fixed now.
