I found a solution for stuttering when opening a folder in the app library. It was because of the transparent icons, now I have set them to coloured and the stuttering is gone.
I noticed it in the Narwhal, Photos, and Safari apps as well.
EDIT: Turning off Reduce Motion fixes it.

On my 13P, it's a lot better. I still have micro stutters on the widget page (mine is long, maybe 3 screens long) , but swipping between screens is a lot better. Near perfect. The best experience since 26.0 (I did all the 26.1 beta).
And battery seems not bad at all.
Yep, specifically Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions, it seems. Thank goodness—that was rather annoying. Hopefully it’ll be fixed in developer beta 3; I much prefer my transitions cross-faded. 🤓
As an aside I noticed the Earthquake Alerts and Imminent Threat Alerts toggles in Settings > Notifications > Enhanced Safety Alerts seem to enable themselves immediately upon disabling (and then navigating away from and then returning to the Enhanced Safety Alerts pane).
Also, autocorrect seems borked; I have it enabled but it isn’t doing much in the way of correction.

It is a beta. QA is the whole point of a beta and it’s only beta 2.
There had been reports of crashes with the ellipsis but not much else with respect to bugs. Hope you made a backup.
mine is fine so im not being obnoxious it is perfectly fine so read the thread find the short term solution to the three … crashes apps , no issue here so i don’t use the solution 15pm/17pm oh by the way its a beta for a bit of a obnoxiously obvious response you crave for .
Mine is obnoxiously fine, and I must admit I like the bouncing liquid effect whan I click on the three dots 🤭
On my 17 Pro Max 26.2 b2 has been by far the best 26.X version I’ve used. It’s been very smooth. I would try reinstalling it because I haven’t had any reprings or crashes whatsoever.
Ditto, it's far better than 26.1 for me.

15PM & 16P iOS26.2 B2 both NO PROBLEMS whatsoever, period.
I wouldn't say it's using the light icons, but it does have a really ugly lighting animation. If I use the default light icons, this animation or visual bug doesn't happen...
Just turn off Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions if you can stomach it under Settings > Accessibility > Reduce Motion, as has been said here many times already.
