iOS 26.2 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

That's right, and because of that, I think I have a higher energy drain on calls, for example. It's nothing serious, but it does start to become noticeable.

Yes, just tried it. I posted earlier with the same problem in the Home app. I've since discovered it does the same on all Apple apps with ellipsis (3 dots) e.g. Files, Freeform, Journal, Passwords, Reminders etc.
Reinstalled beta 2 with IPSW in Finder - no difference.
Deleted & reinstalled Home app - no difference.
Big problem for me :(

Not here. Seems some people are having reduce motion issues with the new glassy pop out menus.
 
I've noticed in this beta that when I open a folder containing apps with dark icons, the app icons kind of flash when it opens. I don't know if it's a bug or a new animation, but it looks bad.

Thank you man! I thought it was my eyesight getting worse but I am seeing the same thing!
Looks like as if for a millisecond or so, the „light“ icon is used during the animation.

The three dot crash was affecting a lot of the programs on my 16pro.
Try turning off prefer cross-fade transitions.
Seems to have fixed it here.

I tried each one and not seeing any of that on my 17 pro.

I’m getting the Control Center long-press crashes and the ellipsis button crashes on a 17 Pro Max, so it isn’t older devices. These problems seem specific to having Reduce Motion enabled

Last time I tried the new alarm for urgent reminders it made no additional sound than the standard reminder notification.
Anyone got it to work in Beta 2?

Yes it's fixed, it's all over X as well from other users reporting the issue as resolved.

It’s an improvement over 26.1 here, especially after the last few days of odd performance. I had decided to shift off the beta train with the 26.1 RC and it had been performing well. Then a few days ago apps started asking me to allow location services every time I opened them, including the weather widget and maps. My battery had been great on 26.1 then randomly seemed to spring a leak and drained excessively yesterday when I’d hardly used the phone. 26.2 B2 so far is smoother with no noticeable quirks and battery is excellent.

i do have a screen "flash" at the top of the screen like...in photos app when i tap on "collection" and then back to "library". Does any of u have that glitch ? Did somebody noticed that ? Or is just my OCD activated all the time when i see things like UI messed up 😆
