iOS 26.2 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Camera UI is still running with low FPS when swiping between modes. Guess they’ll never fix this, even though this even affects the 17 Pro.

Can anybody else confirm that the Home App crashes when touching '+' or ... (top right)? Thanks.
 
I uploaded a video. You can see the stuttering when opening a folder in the app library. Unfortunately, the quality is not so good

Yes, just tried it. I posted earlier with the same problem in the Home app. I've since discovered it does the same on all Apple apps with ellipsis (3 dots) e.g. Files, Freeform, Journal, Passwords, Reminders etc.
Reinstalled beta 2 with IPSW in Finder - no difference.
Deleted & reinstalled Home app - no difference.
Big problem for me :(

Must be a bug related to the new ‘water droplet’ animation in some menus. Try turning on ‘reduce transparency’ in accessibility settings to see if it fixes the issue.

I can confirm that bug with all Apple apps crashing when touching button for filtering/sort/3dots. Mine crash even when I try to attach file in the Feedback app.

Does yours screen glitch and your buttons are unresponsive when you are making a call?

I'm using 15Pro Max

No issues on any apps mentioned here on my 17 Pro. OTA install as i always have. Make sure you’ve done a restart of your device.

Was hoping to hop on the beta, but this makes it a big NOPE from me.
